The houseboat itself is beautifully maintained, with stunning Kashmiri craftsmanship visible in every corner. The rooms were spacious, clean, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.
One of the highlights was waking up to the serene views of Dal Lake.
The service was exceptional, with the staff always ready to assist with a smile. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The delicious home-cooked Kashmiri meals were another delightful touch, offering an authentic taste of local cuisine.
Overall, our stay at Chicago Houseboats was a blend of luxury, tradition, and tranquility. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar—it’s an experience you won’t forget!

I'd like to thank Ibrahim, Faizan, and Sultan for their hospitality- easy pick up from the airport, beautiful shikara ride to the boat, and a lovely stay. The team are really friendly and attentive, and the location is perfect for those who love quiet nature!

One of the best location and view because it is the last houseboat in the series giving a very open view of the dal lake. All other house boats look into each other and there is no view at all

Very nice setting with great garden and lake view, extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful owner + staff, spotless clean room and tasty breakfast, and a ideal and peaceful location close to city center.

Lovely place to stay in Srinagar. Very hospitable owner and staff. Great location right on the lake. Arranged a shikara ride for us that we could pick up right at the hotel due to location. Would definitely recommend.

Nights at Lakeside are peaceful and relaxing after seeing the sunset from the dock.
I was traveling alone and Latif arranged everything that I need or wanted to visit during my stay there inside and outside the property. Mymoona, his wife is an amazing traditional chef that offers to guests the opportunity to taste topical Kashmir food.
My experience was a beautiful location in an amazing lakescape managed by a very warm family.
Highly recommended place to stay!
