Places to Stay in Monterosso al Mare

The view was magnificent! Every day waking up to the view of the mountains and the sea, surrounded by virgin nature. It didn’t feel real! The stuff was friendly and helpful!

Breakfast was delicious with every option imaginable. Staff was thoughtful and attentive, options were plentiful, ranging from croissants and cake, to granola and cereal, to eggs, to yogurt and fresh fruit, to fresh juices and coffee, to freshly baked breads and cheeses and prosciutto. They even helped us make take away sandwiches for our lunch the first day with the leftovers from our breakfast. I cannot rave about the food and the service enough.

Extremely courteous and accommodating staff. Gorgeous sea view from the balcony and deck. Meticulous finish and design - room 21-small but comfortable, quiet, and warm in November.

The location is amazing close to the trails cinque tere. I walked the trails every morning and evening. One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.

The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

The room was really comfortable, spacious and clean. After struggling to sleep on a bad mattress the hotel before in Rome it was so refreshing having such a comfy bed here! The views from the building were great and we really enjoyed our stay here.

It was clean and quiet, close to parking and a short walk into town. Andrea was great and provided lots of information. It was a pleasure.

This accommodation is a minute walk to the train station. And a minute walk to the beach and promenade. Our room had a view of the beach and sea. The staff and included breakfast at the adjoining Hotel Spiaggia were amazing! We were beyond happy with our stay in Endro’s rooms. You really feel like you are apart of the Hotel but the tiny distance the building with Endro’s rooms are just off the main strip and allows for a quieter rooms. Loved it!

Perfect location, close walk to laundry, restaurants, beach, shopping. We rented two rooms for our family of five. I am most grateful to our hostess Claudia, who assisted us with the logistics of an examination that my son had to take, printing, etc.!

I believe there is no other better location to stay in Monterosso Al Mare. Perfect location, great host and OMG the apartment!! It's beyond words. It's like leaving in a museum but with all the modern facilities. You will not regret choosing Via Verdi 5!

Location. Quiet side street. Plenty of room. Has a washer. Great water pressure so family finally had decent showers.

The property is very beautiful, well localized (walking distance from train station with large luggages was easy). Odelys received us with a very warm welcome. Many restaurants nearby. Both rooms were equiped with everything needed for a great stay and beach experience. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

There was coffee provided in the apartment with a Moka pot. This apartment is very centrally located, with many shops and restaurants nearby. Matteo is a friendly and helpful host. He allowed us to check in early.

Host is helpful and communicative. It is a peaceful location and close to a nice restaurant, grocery store, and shops. Far enought from the train station for peace and close enough walk, it is about 10 to 15 minutes. No problems at all and will stay again if I ever return.

This is right in the heart of the village , 2 Mins from beach. Super comfortable. The owners were so so kind when twisted my ankle, they went the extra mile. Really greatfull.
