A beautiful, quiet and intimate place facing a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Poets, and on clear days even the snow-capped Alps. Perfect for relaxing or for day trips in the area. If you wish to visit the villages of the Cinque Terre, you can drive 10 minutes and park near the La Spezia train station, from where trains depart every few minutes — just 7 minutes to the first village. The location is also ideal for exploring the villages and towns around the Gulf of Poets.

Beautiful host, very caring women

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Chicano. The room was spacious, impeccably clean and very comfortable. Diego who was our host, was present and very responsive to our every need. He was also very gracious with his time giving us a very complete run down of how to visit Cinque Terre and surrounding villages whether by car train or ferry as appropriate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room was very spacious. The host was very kind and helpful in terms of how to move around cinque terre. The breakfast was light, but enough for the day.

The staff were amazing right from the moment we walked in the door! Rooms were nice and clean and parking was available. Food was fantastic at breakfast and dinner!

Check-in was really fast and easy. Location was perfect. The hotel is located a little bit above the city center I believe, so the reception is in the 5th floor but then you take the elevator to the ground floor where you can exit to go to the walkable area. In the ground floor is also the breakfast room, which had plenty of food, coffee, all kind of breads, sweets, cold meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc. Parking was right outside the hotel, which was great. The hotel was very clean, spacious, comfortable and the staff were very nice.

Breakfast was EXCELENT and exceeded our expectations. From well made scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, pastries to unlimited espresso, capuchino and fresh juices and fruit. Modern amenities. Rooms very clean and beautiful panoramic ocean views. Especially from roof top.

I was unsure about checking in at the pizza place, but even though they were busy, I was helped right away. They were helpful and lovely. The room was beautifully renovated in an old building behind the restaurant. Very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent! Not just coffee and croissant, but also juice, sliced meat, and cheese! Of the 6 places we have stayed in Italy so far, this has been the best! Also, it is a good location, just a short walk to the train station and close to the lovely waterfront area by the Marina. We had a nice evening walk along the boardwalk and watched the sunset.

The apartment was centrally located and in an incredible spot. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had space air conditioning units to keep the apartment cool. Our hosts were amazing with helping us find things to do, and provide directions to certain areas.

Very good location to go explore Cinque Terre. Laura was very kind to answer any questions we had.

Clean, spacious, close to everything, great communication

This place is really nice, really clean, quite central. The decor is tasteful and pleasant. It made us feel cosy and at home. The support from the team was really nice !
