Hello my name is Giulia Virruso and together with my sister Aurora we decided to open this guesthouse in La Spezia. Welcoming guests is much more than a job for us: it is a real passion that we have always carried in our hearts. I have worked in the tourism industry for a long time (pro-loco, hotels, hostels) and Aurora has pursued professional studies in order to be able to dedicate herself to this sector to the best of her ability. Our parents, originally from Sicily, dedicated many years of their lives traveling between the United States, and Europe working in hotels, accommodations, and businesses. They settled in La Spezia and passed on to me the pleasure of hospitality and hospitality. I moved to Milan to pursue my university studies and for work, but over the years I felt the need to create a business, which would allow me to devote time to what I really care about: making people feel at home, even far from home. Beyond the Blue was born from this desire: to offer a welcoming, well-kept and authentic place, where every guest can experience a special stay. For us, every arrival is a meeting, every departure an extra memory that adds to our experience.
