The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the valley. The bathroom was a good size, though the shower was a bit small. Breakfast was average, but the staff went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The restaurant and bar are highly recommended, especially after exploring Cinque Terre. The location is truly magnificent, with the train station easily accessible by the hotel’s shuttle, and the hotel facilities are excellent for relaxing. Special mention goes to Frankie at the reception desk—his knowledge of the area, proactive attitude, and natural warmth made a lasting impression.

Simply incredible all around. The location is fantastic, in front of a square where locals meet, and steps from the gorgeous, large beach. Levanto is a great town because there are less tourist than in the 5 cities of Cinque Terre, and I felt VERY safe. Also a cool feature is that the breakfast is provided at the restaurant downstairs which is lovely, and felt like a great value and a special way to start each morning (coffee, tea are also in-room). Massimo, the owner, went ABOVE AND BEYOND! He is a very kind and attentive person - for example, I had an early train and would miss breakfast, so he asked me what I liked, went to the market, and had it waiting in my fridge the evening before. I cannot recommend this hotel and its owner enough - I’ll be back!!

It was very close - walking distance- to the train station, which made it the perfect homebase for our cinque terre adventure. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Levanto is the perfect home base to explore the Cinque Terre. The town is mostly flat so it is very easy walking around the streets. There are so many excellent dinning options all around town. The beaches are wonderful and the water is so clear. There are free beach areas and pay areas for chairs and umbrella. We spent 4 days here at the end of a 28 day trip through northern Italy. It was so nice to sit and relax on the beach. The very relaxed atmosphere of the whole town was just what we needed. c

Small town with a great beach.

Small town with a great beach. There are paid beaches or public. We only used the public beaches and had no trouble finding space or with our valuables. The water was amazing. So clear, so blue, and so beautiful. The town has many grocery stores. There is plenty to eat, and the whole vibe of the town is chill and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Levanto is fantastic. Great beach, fantastic location. Not very touristy. Felt very authentic with a very good nightlife! The coastal area was very pretty! Would highly recommend a stay there to experience the Cinque Terre coast.

We went to do the walk from Levanto to Monterosso and to Bonassola. Levanto was great to return to with lots of cafes, reasonably flat and not too busy. This was a total contrast to the towns in cinque terre. The beach, also, was not busy despite the good weather.

Friendly locals.

Friendly locals. Excellent boat cruise with Mario - Costa di Faraggiana - around Cinque Terre. Restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Met the sculpture artist Renzo and ordered superbly crafted unique bracelets.

Levanto is the next town north of Cinque Terre.

Levanto is the next town north of Cinque Terre. The train that runs between the five towns, actually starts in Levanto so you can easily visit all the towns, and the trains also run to La Spezia where you can connect to many other parts of Italy. There are many restaurants, a fairly large beach, and you have many choices for hikes, walks, or rent a bike and ride through the tunnels. We were very glad we choose Levanto as the Cinque Terre towns were fairly crowded.

This is a charming family run hotel, recently renovated, and we were very comfortable. Really clean too and as well as our room being spacious and well equipped, there were thoughtful little touches like a table being reserved at a busy local restaurant on our first night. Levanto is a lovely town too - easy access to the Cinque Terres yet away from the intense busy-ness of the area. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Fabio is a great host with excellent communication with guests. The accommodation is a like home away from home with everything provided including cooking and laundry facilities. The accommodation is a short walk from Levanto railway station making exploring nearby Cinque Terre and other towns like Sestri Levante very convenient. It's also spacious, clean and nicely renovated.

This hotel is ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre villages. It is modern, clean and serves a great breakfast. The staff are super helpful and the rooms are spacious, modern and bright and airy. The hotel is in a quiet location, yet only about 5-10 minutes walk into the Centre of Levanto and similar to the train station. Can’t recommend enough!

Very well appointed accommodation with beautiful spacious bath room and small balcony. Very comfortable room and location could not have been better. Staff very helpful and breakfast was fresh and delicious. This was a beautiful town to visit and Hotel Garden made us very welcome.
