Places to Stay in Yuzawa

Absolutely beautiful winter stay. Lots of eateries and shops. Lots of snow activities to enjoy as soon as you step out of the door. Ski/snow boarding lessons, rental gear, ski lifts, sledding, snow mobile rides. Free shuttle bus to and from train station was a plus. Everything was great, especially the staff.

we have to commend the front desk receiving receptionist. We were not able to get her name but she was very helpful and she really tried to communicate with us in English... Kuddos to this Hotel for hiring very accommodating staff. We are already planning our visit again to this hotel.

Have free parking. The snow field beside the hotel.

Good buffet dinner and good onsen

Shuttle to train station was always on time and courteous. On location rental for skis and equipment was very reasonable price. Room and onset clean and comfortable. Everything was excellent. The couple who ran the hotel is very nice and accommodating.

Customer service was ok, but it’s just standard to receive good customer service in Japan.

Lots of parking. The private bath was great. The refreshment bar downstairs was a nice plus. Room was big! Hotel was clean and well maintained.

The hosts were very kind. The food was homey and delicious. The facilities were clean. Very simple but great stay. They were also kind enough to tell us about issues in the ski resort and gave us the option to cancel.

Perfect location Right across the road from the skiing lifts. Nice coffee shop next door. Lovely staff and hot spring in the showers.

The breakfast were simple, fulfilling and well organized. Considering the location within walking station, the rooms are value for money.

Check in was fairly easy. Rooms, bathrooms and eating spaces were clean and dust free. Great 1 night stay for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Quiet overall. I didn’t have time to experience the onsen, but I saw there was a fee.

Great location on the Main Street, across from a bus stop to other ski areas.

Very near the Echigo Yuzawa train station. Rooms were so spacious and love the private onsen in our room. In room breakfast dining is amazing, wow!

The location was great, it was a very short walk from the train station. It was very convenient to stay there for the Fuji Rock Festival because there was a shuttle bus that took us from the station to the venue and back late at night. We were able to check in without needing to talk to anyone, and check out was a breeze. The staff seemed very nice when we did see them.

location close to the station about 100m . The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is clean. The apartment owner is also kind and friendly and understands my emergency situation.

All hotels near GALA Yuzawa are expensive. This was the only reasonable place. Room is good. Hesrer is good. Bed is good. Hot shower. What more could you want?
