United StatesEverything! Our host was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The guest house was immaculately clean in all aspects. The kitchen facility was well stocked with everything necessary and the large outside dining table was perfect for dining and socializing with other guests at the same time. We would definitely stay again. And the sound of the surf at night was a welcome bonus!!

There is an on-site restaurant that looked delicious, however we did not eat there. Sorry we bought takeaway. We would definitely stay there longer if we returned to the area.

New ZealandI didn't expect the holiday park to be as accommodating as it is I mean it's huge, and very clean and tidy, Impressive. Close to the beach, with a very nice fish n chip takeaway shop, bottle store, and petrol station 1 minute before the camp grounds.

New ZealandThis is an extremely unique and special property. It was the perfect place for our family to unwind at the end of the year. The outdoor spa was gorgeous and pizza oven fun. The kids loved playing on the lake. It is an absolutely beautiful setting that is very well looked after. Hamish is a friendly and welcoming host who explained everything for us and helped with local fishing and swimming tips. The living and bedrooms are cosy and very well appointed. I cannot reccommend this more highly for a wonderful family retreat unique to Aotearoa.

The trees around the house are perfect for kids to climb and explore, and the home itself is cosy and welcoming. The new bathroom is beautiful, and the shower has incredible water pressure—definitely a standout! From the comfort of the house to the stunning surroundings, this retreat is highly recommended for anyone wanting a beachside getaway.

Despite having been through a cyclone a few days before, the only noticeable effect was the pool. Kim and staff had done a great job cleaning up so you wouldn't even have known it had passed through. Thanks for a great stay.

The building is beautiful and well maintained and the host super kind and helpful and they own the sweetest dog.
Kitchen has everything you need and the outdoor common dining area is super nice.
Shower warm and with great pressure.
I was the only guest so I had the whole dorm for myself but bed was comfy and nice to have extra blankets available.
Perfect location for eventually surfing or to head to Cape Reinga and far north.
Great value for money.

Great location right next to a superb beach. Parking for my motorcycle which I was using to travel around NZ. Really relaxing location with a good kitchen and social area. Was going to go back for a few more days but ran out of time!

This is such a sweet secluded place to stay. The views are epic. The hospitality is truly thoughtful. Fridge stocked with eggs, milk, butter, juice as well as honey and jam, and the delivery of fresh bread on the first morning. The linen and beds are clean and super comfy. the bathroom well designed and the shower pressure excellent. There is a mindfulness about showcasing the best of local artisans which was so appreciated.
