Breakfast cereals had a choice with fresh fruit and yoghurt. The position was beautiful with the canal in view. All in all a good place to stay.

Just a step outside the door and you see tall gum trees and smell the pure nature, amazingly beautiful loved the location. The host was awesome and so welcoming. The room was perfect also I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this beautiful place and I now know where to stay in my next visit to Kerikeri. Thank you so much

We had a lovely stay at the home. The outdoors spaces were lovely to relax in. The kitchen was very nice and it was a central location to explore BoI. Also appreciated the thoughtful note and communications from the host.

The absolute best place to stay in Russell. Staff super helpful and friendly. Place is lovely and the views are to die for. You literally just walk 50meters to the first restaurant. Loved the kayaks and paddle boards too. Loved every minute of our stay, we will be back.

The location is such that you can walk to the Pub and downtown is not much further.

Very noisy location. No AC so you need the windows open in summer and the bar across the road was super busy to late with cars revving and screeching down the road around midnight. Nothing the motel can do to stop that I guess but perhaps double glazing and ac would lessen the impact.
The rooms are adequate and need updating. The only couch was very uncomfortable.
The pool was nice and it is about the last place to stay that isn't camping that is close to Cape Reinga.

Great place to stay! The towels, etc. are changed everyday and the receptionist was great and happy to assist with any of our queries. Location is great - 2 minute walk to the beach via the campground and would definitely recommend visiting the Cove Restaurant across the road!

A fabulous location, dining area overlooking the bay, clean accommodation and food was excellent. Grounds are immaculate and it has a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
Once small issues are addressed, this will be a truly spectacular and special place to stay.

Great location close to city centre, supermarket, restaurant, etc.
Not a fancy place but worth the money you pay for a suite with kitchenette. Beds are not as comfy as should be and swimming pool was not ready to use at the time of our stay but we used the spa one night which was great for a rainy day.
In overall it's a pleasant stay for what you pay.

It's a fantastic location - when we were there, we had clear skies, and with a 30-second walk to the beach to see the sunset it's definitely worth it. The villa was nice and reasonably clean as well. Any of the problems mentioned below can be ignored if you're looking for a decent place to stay and don't plan to either interact much with the staff or eat from the bar (note that the other food options close at around 7 pm).
