United StatesBeautiful bedroom. Carla is very warm and welcoming. We immediately felt part of the family. We slept well. Shower is nice. Very clean. She has a nice selection of snacks and drinks available. Great location. At her suggestion we went downtown to see the murals and museum. We fell in love with Covilhã.

United StatesIn the country overlooking the valley and the town. Facilities were new and owner Sarah was super. After driving from Madrid and arriving around 3:30 we didn’t want the hassle of driving into town for dinner (town is typical rural Portugal) but every restaurant in the area delivers so we sat by the pool, had a beer or wine, jumped into the jacuzzi and waited for food. Bed very comfortable, shower great and lots of stars at night. There are not many rooms so we had the whole grounds to ourselves 😀
Plus the national park is in the vicinity for hiking the next day.

Everything was good. The location was perfect for us as we had no car and it is exactly in the center of the city. Fortunately, Uber and bolt service is the best option to travel/explore to other parts of the city. We have hired one local guide with his car which made us the cheapest trip to explore Serra da Estrela, Cortes do meio and various beautiful locations. We enjoyed a lot.

Easy to access location. Exceptionally clean with silent and effective air conditioning in the 37deg temps we were in.
Facilities were great and staff were super friendly and helpful.
Food was good in the hotel, and at a fair price, so no need to travel up into town.
Breakfast was a huge array of everything you could want.
Would definitely come back here

The location. Beautiful view over village to the mountains. Easy walk to the river pools and hiking paths. The apartment is really well equipped and the owner very attentive.

The rooms were good, but not very fancy for a four-star hotel. The floor showed signs that the hotel needs some maintenance. However, it was a nice place to stay, and the breakfast was enjoyable. The staff was very lovely and kind.

We love this apartment. It is in a great location in the old town and only a 10-minute walk from the Michelin restaurant . Taberna A Laranjinha The apartment is large, on two floors, and very well equipped. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable. The apartment thoughtfully prepares coffee capsules and chocolate for guests. And if you have any questions, just call the staff and they will help you.

Fantastic location with beautiful view. The house looks stunning and beds with firm mattresses ensured a great night sleep. The master bedroom upstairs was gorgeous.
Fully equipped for 6-8 people and enough pellets for the heating for 3 nights.
