AustriaThe location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Beautiful hotel above Grundlsee. Our room was quite small but cosy, with small kitchen and big balcony. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices even sparkling wine. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also very tasty. Big swimming pool with lake views is nice place to rest. Staff was also very friendly, they prepared baby cot for our daughter for free. We can recommend this place.

The apartment was small but great. It had everything we needed. The extra plus were free rentable sleighs and a swimming pool.

We had a nice stay, the location is wonderful, beautiful view of the lake and few minutes walk to a beach that you can swim. The water of the lake is cold but not as cold as other lakes in the area so it was nice to go in. A nice pool and a sauna. We were lucky to stay on a weekend in August that had two events, one in the hotel - food, music and performances and one in the small village near the hotel that had activities for children, food stands and music. Breakfast is very good, it is not included.
