We did an 11-night all-inclusive stay at Barcelo. It was incredible! The food was excellent every day. There was a cuisine theme each evening. Plenty of entertainment opportunities and games were offered to keep guests entertained. I personally chose to sunbathe, use the gym, and sit at one of the three bars where you could get all the drinks you wanted. The staff was incredible - nice, helpful, efficient. The hotel itself is huge. You will get a map on your arrival and then use the hotel app for the first two or three days but then it becomes really easy to navigate. We went to stay at Barcelo in November, and the weather was 25-29 C almost every day.

We liked everything about the property and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The property is 10-15 minutes away from the airport in a residential area of apartments, condos, and hotels. It was perfect for us. It was clean, quiet, and convenient. The penthouse apartment where we stayed was roomy: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a combined lounge area and kitchen. It also included two outdoor areas, each with a dining table and chairs and one with a covered area with outdoor sofas. Comfortable lounge chairs and a fantastic view of the property and the ocean was much appreciated! Having a washing machine was also a bonus and previous guests, or the owner, left an assortment of spices, olive oil, salt/pepper in the kitchen…and that made it very easy for us to make breakfast, lunch or dinner as needed! The security of the complex is fantastic: a fob/card is necessary to enter and leave the exterior gated area, and that gave us a feeling of being safe - plus, the front door had a deadbolt lock. Another positive aspect to this property is that two small/medium size grocery stores (with a good selection of meat, produce and fresh bakery items) are just a two or three minute walk away as are a number of restaurants. We had delicious Sunday Roast and Fish-n-Chips at WildGeese, fantastic roasted chicken at the steak/chicken/fish restaurant across the street from this property and We enjoyed live music (and tasty fruit infused sangria) at a small restaurant/bar along the Promenade overlooking the ocean very near this property. The property’s location to the Promenade is a 3-5 minute walk: great for those people who want to visit one of the black rock beaches in this area, walk around the marina, take a catamaran ride, or simply soak up the beautiful scenery. A representative from the owner contacted us prior to our trip, when we arrived and the day prior to our departure.

Close to airport so was easy for a night.

The deck was spacious and the location close to the airport was perfect.

Central, clean, quiet, safe, pleasant view of Atlantic and pool court. Easy parking.

The location is the main point. It is close to the beach and is close to a small mall (3 minutes walk). The mall has a supermarket and different restaurants. Additionally there is a bus stop within 5 minutes of walk and a taxi pick up point near the mall. If you are renting a car, there is the opportunity to get a parking spot with the property, otherwise there is a lot of parking space outside the property.

Great apartment in an excellent location and absolutely superb hosts.

The accomodation was excellent value for money. It was clean, and very spacious. The accomodation is located within a contained compound; the area felt very safe, however this was additionally reassuring. The host was fantastic. I arrived in Tenerife to full comprehensive instructions on how to enter the property, and I was able to get help very quickly when I struggled to get to grips with the digital lock system. I found taxis difficult to secure in the area, so I contacted the host to ask for recommendations for a return transfer to the airport. Unprompted, the host organised my airport transfer which I was incredibly grateful for. Excellent customer service start to finish.
