The room was spacious and the amenities in the lobby

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony and view of a castle. The small kitchen and stovetop (no oven) was adequate for our meal prep. We chose self-catering so we brought sheets, towels, cleaning products, etc. There is a laundry onsite. The pool was wonderful. We loved the easy walk into Chinon where there were many restaurants, cafes and a fun guingette on the river. ELeclerc Hypermarche was a 10 minute drive. Unfortunately the June heatwave forced us to leave a day early. I would not hesitate to return but would choose an air conditioned unit.

This place is wonderful! My daughter booked it and I had no idea it was a picturesque spot in the French countryside. Everything clean, cozy, thoughtfully decorated. So lovely and relaxing that we extended our stay!

Best breakfast we've had in France. Owners were so friendly and really wanted to make the stay great. Our toddler loved walking around and petting their cats. The bed was comfy and we loved keeping the windows and door open for lovely fresh breeze. Everything was perfect!

Lovely location - close to many things but also quiet and relaxed.

The hospitality of Eric and Marianne was outstanding. They connected with my husband and I making our time in the Loire Valley extra special. The room was spacious and comfortable, the compound was lovely with the flower beds, the breakfast was delicious, and the location quiet and peaceful. We were close to Chinon, an interesting town with cafes, shops, wineries, and the historical Chinon Fortress.

The location, house and most of all the family are absolutely exceptional. If you would like to really experience French hospitality and cooking it's a brilliant place to stay.
