Absolutely amazing villa find outside of Jogja. The facilities are extremely clean and well kept. There are no bugs. The room setup is comfortable and refreshing. Every room has direct access to a shared pool. The view is absolutely stunning and rejuvenating. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They also speak English well if you cannot speak Indonesian. The room service food is absolutely delicious (especially the Soto and mie goreng). The villa is hard to find as it’s in the village in a small back alley but if you are looking for a stay outside of the city, with the intention of relaxing I can’t recommend this villa enough.

The room was tastefully designed with a blend of modern comfort and Javanese heritage, featuring spacious interiors, luxurious bedding, and a private terrace that overlooked stunning views of the surrounding nature. Waking up to the soft rays of the morning sun, the chirping of birds, and the cool breeze was a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the resort’s exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every moment was enjoyable, always ready to assist with a warm and friendly demeanor. Whether it was arranging local tours, recommending hidden gems in the area, or preparing personalized meals, their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction made me feel truly special. The dining experience at Rajaklana was another delight. The on-site restaurant offered a delectable selection of traditional Indonesian cuisine and international dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Dining under the open sky, surrounded by nature, while savoring the rich flavors of local delicacies was an absolute treat. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me logistically. Everyone was friendly and the serene, peaceful environment and background was everything I hoped for. I love nature so this was ideal for me. Wish I could have stayed longer.

It was centered to many places we could go for a walk to get food or coffee.

Staying at Astuti Gallery Homestay felt like having a second home. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and makes you feel comfortable right away. The host is incredibly attentive and always checks in to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The staff are also friendly and genuinely care about making your stay enjoyable. A special mention goes to Max and Rocky, the two adorable resident dogs. They may bark occasionally when someone arrives, but most of the time they're just lounging around or taking naps. I also loved the lush, shady garden and the inviting swimming pool. It's the perfect place to relax, read a book, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay without being too far from the city center. A wonderful place to unwind, recharge, and feel at home. I'd definitely love to come back!
