The calm, the pool, the service

The property is a quiet and very nice villa with an incredible view to a valley with olive and grape plantations. On the horizon you can see San Gimignano’s towers. The location is perfect since it is near to some of the main sites to visit in Tuscany (san giminiano, volterra, pienza, crete senesi, bagno vignoni). The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are top notch, and the wine selection is extensive. The staff is outstanding, Chiara on the front desk helped us plan our stay and make the most out of our days at Tuscany. Paola and Laura, who run the hotel, are incredibly nice people and were very welcoming. We will visit again someday.

Absolutely amazing breakfast, very friendly staff, beautiful views, quiet property just up the hill from town, for Via francigena walkers, a good stop before Monterriggioni, a little more pricey, but well worth it, you will not be disappointed!

The host was wonderful and made sure we were comfortable. The place is beautiful and charming. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the breakfast was great. We loved his dog also. Hot water and heat weee great.

The apartment was huge! It was well equipped and comfortable. The location is somewhat secluded (about 20 - 30 minutes to a small town or restaurant), but if you want to relax in a beautiful setting, this is the place.

The whole facility is excellent, the gardens are fantastic. The overall scenery is straight out of a postcard. The apartment we rented was spacious and nicely decorated.

Absolutely loved this place. Too many great things to mention, but a few of the stand-outs: great location to have as a home base for visiting the Tuscan countryside, beautiful grounds including the guest apartments, the pool, and the vineyards, amazing views of the surrounding area, and extremely spacious, clean, and charming guest apartments (each with private outdoor area). Our favorite part of both staying here and of our entire trip was the private tour of the winery and wine tasting with the family. They were incredible and made us feel so welcome, and their wines and honey were amazing - the best that we had in all our time in Italy! Highest recommendation.

Everything! My room was spacious and clean, the pool area was beautiful and relaxing, the breakfast was ample and tasty. The hosts are so amazing, they made me feel so welcome and helped with restaurant recommendations and bookings in the area. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Authentic Tuscany farmhouse with surrounding host's wineries and olive farms. We extremely enjoy having breakfast on the terrace looking out the vast valley under rising sun. The hillside swimming pool is wonderful. We were given a homemade wine as a gift from the host.

Absolutely ideal location, beautiful views of Monteriggioni, gorgeous pool, and well equipped rooms. The beds were SUPER comfortable also! And the hosts were so kind and communicative, helping us with baby cribs, high chairs, winery recommendations, and more. Thank you so much!!! We would love to return!!

Beautiful property, very quiet and perfect to relax. Wonderful garden and all the staff was very nice and helpful.

I loved our Agriturismo experience with il Colombaio 🙃 The place is really lovely, we enjoyed the peacefulness and silence of Tuscany, especially in the morning when you wake up and enjoy the sunny Tuscan valley. The whole area is amazing, with vineyards and lovely green fields. It is also close to Sienna, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, lovely places to look around. So 10+ for location. The hosts are just lovely, Marco and his adorable family, that run the Agriturismo and the winery. They were really helpful and wonderful hosts. We enjoyed wine tasting and dinner, and the wine is definitely a must try. Especially the Gran Selezione. The dinner was very delicious. And last but not the least, the rooms were clean, cozy, with comfy beds, … Overall, we truly enjoyed staying at il Colombaio, and definitely recommend staying here. And thanks to ourur hosts for enjoyable vacation.

I would rate this 11/10, but it didn’t let me. The pool is fantastic and the added bonus of having the two cutest dogs Lisa & Zonte roam around, alongside Elvis, the Shetland pony.
