Hidden Gem in Panglao – Super Relaxing & Friendly! My friends and I had such a great stay at Mayana Resort! If you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind while exploring Bohol, this is it. The location is quiet and relaxing, about 15 minutes from Alona Beach — far enough to avoid the noise but still close enough to get there easily by scooter or tricycle. We actually loved being away from the crowds and coming back to a calm, green oasis at the end of the day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with a cold drink and friendly smiles, and the service stayed consistently amazing throughout our stay. Big shoutout to Diana, who was always super helpful and professional, and to Anna at the bar and restaurant – she’s a gem! Our room was spacious, super clean, and really comfortable. Great bed, strong A/C, a nice modern bathroom, and even a balcony overlooking the pool. The little touches like a large safe (big enough for a laptop), fridge, and blackout curtains made a big difference. The pool was a favorite — clean, big enough to swim properly, and even has a deep end (over 7ft!). It's perfect for cooling off in the heat. Just watch the edges – they can be a bit rough, but it didn’t bother us. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we ended up eating there most nights. They offer everything from Filipino dishes to Austrian options (yes, ostrich burger too!), and the staff were happy to accommodate special requests — like making a veggie curry or poached eggs even though they weren’t on the menu. Breakfast was tasty and filling, with several options to choose from. The coffee and fresh juice were a great way to start the day. And when we had to leave early one morning for diving, they packed us up a breakfast to go — such a thoughtful touch! They also rent out good scooters, which made getting around super easy. And if you don’t drive, the staff can quickly call a tricycle or taxi for you.

This was a true 10/10 stay. Squeaky clean, it has all the ameneties you can think of. The host is really friendly and helpful. They provide free bikes on site, scooter for rent at a more than fair price and car also perfect for a family of 5 like us. The duplex is situated in a safe and friendly compound. You can use the pool any time you wish, of course respecting the neighbours. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the husle in Alona Beach, but also strategicaly positioned to easily get to important turist destinations with the car or scooter ( loboc river, tarsier sanctuary, chocholate hills etc) Thank you for hosting us.

We enjoyed our stay here so much, we extended our stay from one week to a month, the hosts are amazing friendly and great cooks as well. We were able to use a well equipped kitchen to cook meals, and even cooked pizza in their awesome wood fired oven. They have rental scooters on sight which is very convenient .

Everyhthing was super amazing and beautiful! It was a safe haven for me coz i always visit that place with frenz before too but we never checkin just enjoying eating in there restuarant and pool party but now me and my fiance enjoyed so much together a very memorable on his birthday! Super amazing staffs and yummy fooods!!to sir Robin the nicest owner very superr much thank you for having dinner with us toooo☺️☺️☺️ a very nice resort and we highly recommend it☺️

The rooms were very spacious and the foods were delicious. Cant get enough of the refreshing and beautiful mountain view, its so amazing. The staff were very polite and accommodating. We had so much fun swimming and taking pictures in their infinity pool, instagrammable view.

The view was amazing! We chose the villa where you can look over the sea! The pool above is nice for privacy if you don't want to dip in the bigger po below with the slide and fun water streaks. The restaurant also gives off a cozy ambiance and everything is green because of nature. I totally loved it!

The property is beautiful, with a relaxing swimming pool with sea view. The owners are very friendly and ready to help. The room was spacious with everything you need. It’s located in the middle of nature so you need a scooter to move around. It’s close to Loboc and the Tarsier sanctuary.

The location is wonderful. It is nice and quite with beautiful views from the swimmingpool or balcony. The staff is really friendly and thoughtful. It is possible to rent a scooter and they can arrange pick-ups. Our ferry was cancelled, so we had a ferry in the afternoon and they let us stay in the room untill 14.00 without extra charge (there was no other booking after us). We thought the places lookes better and is more spacious than it seems on the picture. We really loved our stay here!
