The host is a singularly informative and warm person. Extremely hardworking and it shows in the property. The property itself is a wonderful place. Breakfast was great. And speaking as an American, the big pot of coffee was a nice surprise. One particular highlight was when the host cooked alcatra for us.

Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views.

Unbelievable view from the house. All the window panels opened up as if you were part of the outside. although conveniences in the house were ultra modern.

Great staff throughout! Clean hotel top to bottom. Nice rooms and common areas. Nice hot tubs,sauna and pool (cool this time of year but open) and elevator. Good location. Street parking was easy and inexpensive (payment only required during week days). Restaurants and cafes easy walking distance. Able to drive right to front door to deposit luggage even though in a restricted zone. Excellent breakfast.

Located a 4-minute walk from Silveira Beach, Azores Book Hotel offers 4-star accommodations in Angra do Heroísmo and has a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar.

Beautiful house run by lovely owners. Everything was perfect. There was no problem to host us in the middle of the night - our flight was delayed. There are friendly dogs living there.

We felt truly welcome and well taken care of at Casa Franco da Serra. This family-run hotel has a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owner and her son were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were even invited to a small family gathering over the weekend, and everyone was so warm and friendly! It was such a lovely way to experience real Portuguese hospitality on our first visit to Portugal. The hotel is located a bit outside the town center, so having a car is convenient for getting around. That said, we managed perfectly well using the bus (there’s a stop right in front of the house) and returning by taxi without any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Terceira who is looking for peace, nature, and a quiet retreat.
