CanadaGreat staff throughout! Clean hotel top to bottom. Nice rooms and common areas. Nice hot tubs,sauna and pool (cool this time of year but open) and elevator. Good location. Street parking was easy and inexpensive (payment only required during week days). Restaurants and cafes easy walking distance. Able to drive right to front door to deposit luggage even though in a restricted zone. Excellent breakfast.

VietnamWe felt truly welcome and well taken care of at Casa Franco da Serra. This family-run hotel has a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owner and her son were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were even invited to a small family gathering over the weekend, and everyone was so warm and friendly! It was such a lovely way to experience real Portuguese hospitality on our first visit to Portugal.
The hotel is located a bit outside the town center, so having a car is convenient for getting around. That said, we managed perfectly well using the bus (there’s a stop right in front of the house) and returning by taxi without any issues.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Terceira who is looking for peace, nature, and a quiet retreat.

Staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Very personalised feel to the place due to high staff/guest ratio; were able to assist me a lot. Nice breakfast. This house and the gardens are absolutely amazing. We loved everything about it. It’s huge, we were well looked after and given little local treats and good breakfasts. everything very comfortable - plenty of outdoor seating with cushions, comfortable beds and beautiful garden with swimming pool overlooking the sea.

The place is wonderful, a big garden full of flowers and plants, a beatiful swimmingpool.
Room was big and the bathroom too, clean and comfortable...the bed extra!!!!! Hotel stuff is so kind, friendly and professional.

We stayed for four nights here. It was like being at home-you have a kitchen and living room at your disposal, where even the owners are. The building is very nicely renovated, and the rooms are spacious.
There is a nice bathroom and excellent mattresses. The swimming pool outside is an excellent additional benefit. I highly recommend to anybody!

It is an older charming stonehouse with a lot of land around.With chickens and a greenhouse ,a playground for children and a set-up swimmingpool.The house is exceptionell pretty in azorean style decorated by the friendly host Teresa. All is very clean.Her husband Henrique is immediatly there if anything happens and is very helpfull with all. Made the reservation for a good restaurant, shows us the best places togo and so on. And last but not least, the marvellous sight to the bay and the sea from the terrace.

The aesthetic and the design of the place is very simple yet very elegant.
The host was welcoming and recommended a good places to see around the island and treat us with good breakfast.
There's also a nice swimming pool to chill at when you dont feel like driving around.
