It was a dream staying here! Quinta das Susandas has two beautiful pools that are very clean! All areas are very well organized and decorated, carefully maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and the meals were among the best we had throughout our trip.

Location, food, nature, luxury

Lovely hotel, room very well appointed, close to the town, breakfast was delicious, very friendly staff. Lovely spa facilities.

The location and the view is amazing. The host is very caring and keep checking and communicating with us. The best stay we ever had.

We booked a weekend getaway there and everything went so well: the rooms are new, clean, the view is fantastic, the host is friendly, that’s a true hidden gem in Douro! Perfect value for money.

The peaceful location by the river and near the station, the gardens and pool, excellent dinners with delicious wine from the Quinta, the atmosphere of the hotel itself, like staying in a country house from another age, spacious rooms and buckets of character.The sort cut along the railway track is very hand and we recommend the beach bar near the station for a relaxed snack lunch and drinks

I like the location, although I had difficulties finding it a the GPS brought very close but not exactly to the property. The view is amazing. Excellent staff. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent.
