We enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff we met were very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was tasty, as were the other meals we had. The bed was comfortable, with mosquito nets and air conditioning. There's plenty of storage space in the room. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. We appreciated that the hotel supports a school for children with disabilities which is on the same compound.

Back side pool is excellent. Close to the beach. Delicious buffet breakfast. Great dinner (a la carte). Recommend to take half board, you will like it. Nice game area: billiard, table tennis, table football...

Alma Butique Hotel is an excellent place for people who want to detox and relax in a calm environment. Hotel is small (around 30 guests maximum; we benefitted even from the smaller presence) and with its beautiful garden guarantees privacy. It was open in 2022 so rooms have a brand new tasteful (boho style) equipment. The polite and kind houskeeping ensured that rooms an teracces were clean, drinking water supplied regularly (in big glass bottles) and we had a choice of teas (we could prepare them having a kettle) as well as coffee and coffee machine. The joint pool (we had also a small private one) allows swimming during low tide. Breakfasts were very good, notably as concerns warm dishes from the menu, prepared upon our requests. We loved having long breakfasts followed with a coffee at the terrace while enjoying the beatiful view at the garden and ocean with a gentle and warm breeze. The staff was very nice and always helpful (notably as concerns organizing excursions and transfer). One of us benefitted from spa (excellent masagge!).

Great location and facilities. Family which is running the hotel is super nice and always ready to assist. Pool is clean and the restaurant has the great menu. Breakfast was also very good. We would come back

The property and location are beautiful. It’s set away from the busier areas of Jambiani and Paje, but is a relatively short walk to each of these places. There are lots of comfortable loungers for the pool and beach, all with umbrellas. There is also a sandy area with tables and chairs where people can lounge/play cards/have a drink. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The AC and wifi worked great. The restaurant on the property has excellent Italian food and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The breakfast that was included was also very generous and delicious. Our favourite part of our stay was the incredible staff and family that run the place. They made us feel at home during our entire stay and we are very grateful to them. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

The staff were the real winners here! They made us feel like we were VIP special guests and were all so friendly and helpful. They organised a local sail boat ride and there were lots of facilities available. We had a table reserved for us every night at the restaurant with a nice view of the beach. The room was stunning~ it truly felt like we were on a retreat and our room was immaculately made up by the house keeping staff. We hope to return one day!

Big villa, lots of room. Nice pool. Good seafood restaurant rather near, decent bar also close, money exchange facility nearby. The hostess Loveness was very helpful.

We were lucky to discover this beautiful place that became our home for a while! Very quiet, beautiful garden, with an amazing team and everything you may need while living. Next to the ocean, close to Paje and Jambiani at the same time, but hidden in the bushes. 💚 Not a single problem with electricity, water, wi-fi, which is the key factors on the island. It is also very safe place with high quality protection on the whole territory. Our cats were happy to stay as well, and meet Baobab cutie-cats! Barbara was highly reactive to anything we needed during our stay, very loving and became our family.🤍 Coming back to Zanzibar we will definitely stay at Baobab.

Beautiful paradise like setting within the walls of the property. Aside from an older older stove/oven, everything was modern and immaculate. We loved the pool (quite clean at all times) , which sat right outside our apartment. Complimentary breakfast ( recommend veggie omelet) was very good. It was just a 250-meter walk down a quiet sandy road that led through the trees to a quite beautiful and natural beach where you were immersed with the local population/kids.

The team are great, offer to get food delivered if you want, organize trips and are knowledgeable and helpful, very good English spoken

First of all, I want to thank Paola and her team for our fantastic vacation. Thanks to them, we felt right at home in this paradise. Now, about the location itself. There are 12 villa-apartments here. Some have one bedroom, some have two, which is convenient for families with children. The apartments are spacious and have a kitchen equipped with cooking utensils. There's even a blender for smoothies, which is great because ripe fruit is sold here. The residence has several generators in case of power outages. The Wi-Fi is decent. There are two excellent swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast is good: scrambled eggs, pancakes, pastries, toast, fruit, tea, coffee. The beach is a 3-minute walk away, but you can only swim during high tide. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely recommend this place!

Charming and quiet boutique hotel with 2 pools. The hotel is well maintained and extremely clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. Great water pressure (which is not always the case in the island). Delicious breakfast (I loved the avocado toasts). Only 1 minute away from the beach with nice bars / restaurants around. Also a lot of delicious local restaurants in the village only 10 minutes away by walk. The staff is really friendly and welcoming and helpful. This is a gorgeous villa. The garden is very lovely, the pool is so nice and the view from the Banda is the absolute best. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There’s airconditioning in the entire villa, just not in the sea view room above the Banda. It’s good that they have a back up generator. We really loved our stay. It was lovely seeing dikdik’s and monkeys in the garden. The guards are so friendly, we had great fun with them and the owner is so friendly and whenever you have a question she responds on WhatsApp within minutes. Service is excellent.

We stayed in Stone Town, Jambiani, and Nungwi during our trip to Zanzibar, and the Uzuri in Jambiani was hands down the best part of the trip. Exceptional property, dreamy pool-facing room, and the proximity to the quiet and beautiful beaches of Jambiani made it the most relaxing and memorable part of the stay. Cherry on top is the personable owner who we loved hanging out with, the friendly staff, good food, and the hotel pets! We would urge our family and friends to stay at Uzuri and enjoy Jambiani!

The room was well designed with direct access to the beach. The ambience was very elegant and the design is well thought through. We really loved the amenities like beach towels, hats, etc kept for us. This was one of the best place we have stayed this year and great value for money! Highly recommended.

Everything was great, starting from the bungalow, cleaned everyday by super nice ladies, always doing for us real art from towels and flowers on the beds, the bathroom was big and clean. We had a lot of fun by the pool, the minute we arrived to the pool nice guy from stuff came with pool towels for us, there was a ball to play with. The reception guy was so nice, always wanting to help, arranging for us airport transfers and checking island tours for us. Not to mention restaurant - food is so good - fresh, delicious. We've had breakfasts included in reservation and it was the best breakfast possible - always had plate of fresh and juicy fruits, juice or smoothie, coffee or tea, pancakes with chocolate or jam, eggs in every variant possible - fried, scrambled, with vegetables, with sausage, toasted bread, fries with rosemary, and my personal favorite - chapati. Other meals were also great - very nice seafood platter, seafood pizza and chapati wrap with beef meat - those I really recommend.
