Excellent service. Kind and respectful staff. The designing and preparation of room 3 upstairs was stellar.

Our room was modern, neat and adequately stocked with the things required for a stay. The biggest plus was Mike's willingness to make sure we were happy. There was an area power outage and between the generator, gas stove and emergency lights, he made sure we were as comfortable as could be. Thank you Mike!!

The rooms were stunningly beautiful and clean, each accompanied by a thoughtful booklet crafted by the hosts, providing valuable insights into Grahamstown. The place exudes tranquility, especially the pool area, where the host generously offered us fruit as we enjoyed their captivating estate. The Wi-Fi is exceptional, paired with DSTV in every room—words fall short; booking with them is a decision you won't regret.

Big high five to the Mimosa Guest House in Makhanda, my base of operations (along with a herd of cows outside) during the RU120 visit to Makhanda. Very comfortable historic home in a lush garden setting with inviting charcoal pool. Temperatures required regular immersions and poolside lounging. Woke up to the caterwauling of the Hadada Ibis in the trees each morning. Enjoyed meals at Major Fraser's across the street from Drostdy Arch. They have superb pizzas that are wood-fired oven-cooked.

Easy in and out. Very comfortable, nice host, and good neighborhood. Very close to town and coffeeshops. It’s was really quiet and I had a great night’s sleep.

There was no breakfast but they very kindly left us milk coffee and tea! (And 5 l water ) They were really laid back and allowed us to stay a little later on leaving day to accommodate our personal plans which was much appreciated
