Our room offered magnificent mountain views that made every day special. We especially enjoyed the spa, with the saunas area standing out as wonderfully tranquil and relaxing. The hotel’s location was perfect, just a short walk to the mountain lifts and very close to numerous hiking trails, which made exploring the outdoors effortless. Overall, it was an excellent stay combining comfort, relaxation, and easy access to nature.

My wife and I checked in Monday night July 7th and checked out Wednesday July 9th. At first our stay did not start out well because the TV wasn't working in 401. Fannie did an excellent job and gave us another room in 305 (our 3rd room). The TV wasn't working either. The next day the maintenance technician figured out the problem and repaired all the TVs that were not working in the upper level of the hotel. During checkout I mentioned my frustration and Herr Peter was very understanding and gave us a discount for the troubles. Because of his professionalism I highly recommend JUFA hotel. I like how Herr Peter spoke kindly and handled my stress with care. What is important,, JUFA hotel is very clean, organized and has a wonderful lobby for the children, outdoor seating, and a nice restaurant. The hotel is perfectly located right in the center of town. . We will come back 🤗👍

We had a wonderful stay last weekend at Hotel Schütterhof. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the spa area. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, making it a truly relaxing and memorable experience. Another big advantage is the hotel’s perfect location right next to the ski area. My partner and I were able to go snowboarding with just a two minute walk from the hotel, which made the whole experience incredibly convenient and fun. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway with amazing mountain views and direct access to skiing.

We loved at stay at this hotel. Nothing is spared. They even offer fruit and drinks by the swimming pool for free and the cake time at lunch was a delicious surprise. We've had a wonderful short stay there with our two small children and we are looking forward to our next visit. The hosts are wonderful and their effort is reflected in the high quality of the accomodation.

Everything is perfect! We’ve been there 15 years ago and always wanted to go back because of how great this property was. Spa with outdoor hot pool is just amazing, dinners are fine dining experience rather than an ordinary hotel dinners. Stuff is very nice and attentive, rooms are perfect. Amazing ski resort - the slopes are of incredibly high quality, lifts are modern and maintained to an excellent degree, and there is a huge choice of slopes - the ski pass includes five different areas, and you can even drive to Flachau and ski there as well. There is a bus that you can take to all the different locations in case you don't want to drive, and some of the ski areas are also connected by lifts. Unfortunately we went in early March, when the temperatures were really high - I saw 14 degrees on one slope! This didn't make for a great skiing experience in the afternoon as the snow was melting into a slush, so I'd recommend anyone going in early March to get half day passes and ski in the morning until lunchtime, then relax in the sauna or one of the many apres-ski bars.

A village in beautiful scenery that lacks something. Accessibility of services (hiking, lifts, restaurants) was a bit confusing. Many services did not have clear English instructions/price lists/online shops. The Tyrolean region summer card seemed to give you a much wider range of services than the Salzburger region.

We spent 10 days in Bad Gastein with our kids and we love the valley. It as a good mixture of hiking and biking opportunities, climbing mountains and spending time in the "thermen". Lots of places serve excellent food and for sure Austria has very nice wines to offer.

Great base city for traveling around Salzburg region. We have small kids and it was perfect for our kind of trip. There are various pharmacies and supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing stores, even a little market on the weekends, and just great facilities all around (including a playground for kids).

While there isn’t a huge amount of activity or major attractions directly inside the town itself, Wagrain is an absolutely gorgeous and peaceful place to stay. It offers a wonderfully quiet alpine atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Its biggest advantage is its location: it is quite close to many of the region's major attractions, making it an ideal, hassle-free base for day trips and exploring the surrounding area. If you are looking for a beautiful, serene spot to return to each evening, Wagrain is highly recommended!

One of the most beautiful places on this planet. Easy to get around with the Ramsau am Dachstein Summercard and the bus and gondola systems. Loved the gondola to the top and the Sky walk, the Stairway to Heaven and the Stairway to Nothingness. Also liked Rittisberg and its attractions such as the Flyline, toboggan and High Ropes. The Go Karting down 7 kms of the Planai mountain was also fun

A nice little town with history. The city walls and towers are still there to see. You can walk around the old city center and read about the history of the town. There are several restaurants and café. One could go to a cinema or go listening to the music, but this is to be checked in advance. Hiking in the mountain forests or cycling - this is what you do here. There are downhill ski routes, but we were in summer and could not say anything about these. Within an hour of driving you can reach popular touristic places around, like Dachstein, Hallstadt, Pongau or Salzburg.
