The location is perfect. You have a big mall walking by and the city center is just 20min by car. I will stay again if I return to Brisbane.

Brisbane city is great but if you head to the mountains and...
Brisbane city is great but if you head to the mountains and tablelands it’s an even better experience. The city’s ferries are easy to use and you can see many of the sites just hopping on and off. Great for elderly people who don’t want to walk a whole city. The art galleries and museums are fantastic and the South Bank eateries are well worth trying. We loved the Emporium Terrace Bar for a lunch with a “wow” view or head to Riverside and enjoy a coffee with a view of the Story Bridge. Mt Coot-tha botanic gardens was sensational. You won’t be short of something to do in Brisbane.

I think Redcliffe is underrated.
I think Redcliffe is underrated. It is an excellent location with a casual, laid back life style. Yep, the place is a little older than other more "trendy" areas in Brisbane/SEQ, but absolutlely worth visiting.
You can't beat great dining, friendly staff, and an awesome climate.

The Sundowner Hotel Motel is an excellent place to stay as it has ease of access to everything They have the best linen and the beds are very comfortable. I would always book this motel . The hotel and bistro next door has the best food on offer and there are pokies for those who do wish to have a flutter. Staff are very friendly and more than helpful. If you want MacDonald's or a small shopping precinct close by they are all right next door.

Beautiful location.
Beautiful location. Enjoy a Gelati whilst watching the whales pass by ( during whale season) and kangaroos relaxing on the grass. Lovely walk at gorge walk with sweeping views and turtles. Close to Cylinder Beach for a beautiful swim.

How close it was to where I needed to be and central to places of interest. Airport only 30 mins away. Had a granddaughter and a new baby only 10 minutes away which was great. Had ‘breakfast’ at Bannette(?) in Wynum and walked around the most beautiful bay with a lovely children’s park.
As an older person , driving around the area was a dream. Would definitely do it again!

Stopped into the local book store, I was in awe of the selection. Could have stayed there all day.
Kenilworth bakery has a massive "donut" it is 1 kg comes in a few different flavours.

North lakes is an ideal area if you need to access shopping.
North lakes is an ideal area if you need to access shopping. It seems that every shop ever conceived is in the area. There is also great dining experiences - but shop around. The Coffee Club in the Westfield Shopping Center achieves something I thought was impossible - it produces cold overcooked bacon and eggs. Don't go there.

We liked the access to all shops etc the noise from workers was bad the beds could be a little more comfortable and maybe a security door so we could have the door open and not let the flies in
