"Highlight was cherry picking. Visited in December and it was in season. Rose farm was where we went. $6/kg no charge per head. Can recommend. Wineries are also a must visit. Stayed for only 1 night which I'd say a bit too short."

"Beautiful time to visit Bathurst - late autumn leaves are still turning - just make sure you pack your winter woolies. Had a fantastic evening meal at the Victoria Hotel - great ambience on a Friday night. Brunch on Saturday morning at Porters Cafe was equally oustanding - fantastic service, coffee & food. No visit to Bathurst is complete without a drive around Mt Panorama - even if you're not a petrol head - amazing views and heaps of roos."

"It is a delightful town. We don't often get to remoter locations. We visited the Bushmen's Reserve, the War memorial on the hill with some great views, and of course the Dish. We can recommend them all of these, the first especially for the historic significance and the Wiradjuri heritage. We came to Parkes initially to see the Dish only to realise there is a lot more to discover."

It was my first time staying here. Actually, it was recommended by someone local who had been in the motel/serviced apartments industry before. It is very close to where I need to be, the price is competitive and similar to some others in the area, and I was very pleased at how clean and new it was. The bathrooms felt like it had been renovated. Both shampoo and conditioner are provided which is great. I really liked how the motel rooms are inside the building (unlike most motels that are directly out onto the carpark/outside). Will definitely be staying here again

We stayed in Truffles. This a small 3 bedroom house, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. It it fully equipped with a comprehensive kitchen, a comfortable lounge room.a large modern TV, a veranda to sit and watch the view. Our first night there were several kangaroos grazing outside. This is an ideal place to relax and forget the world and enjoy greenery and vines and trees and views. We will be back!

This is top of the range accommodation with regard to everything - its situation, comfort, view, catering (afternoon tea and cake and the sumptuous multi-course breakfast served in a lovely dining room or on the terrace). The hosts, Karen and Shawn, make sure you are as close to heaven as you can be! We can't wait to book another stay.

The location was excellent and very central. Just a few minutes walk from the best spots - Ferment wine bar, the Gladstone hotel, Byng Street cafe and Dirty Jane's. we loved the special touches like the Brekky Bag with granola and fruit nectar. The large smart TV allowed us to watch our favourite streaming shows. I'd definitely go back.

I have never been to Mudgee and would definitely be back, a very old and pretty town. The people in this town are lovely with everyone saying hello. I had a chat to an old fella that’s been here all of his life, got some great stories from him. I would love to see the wineries next time.

Orange is a super lovely regional town. We stayed at The Sampson and it was fabulous so we could have very happily stayed longer and enjoyed this property as our base. We were there for a two day conference and could have easily allowed another day to enjoy the town more. Great restaurants, cafes, shops and walks. Even when fresh in the mornings in winter, the walks are divine.

Have passed through many times but never stopped.

Have passed through many times but never stopped. Decided to stop for 2 days and oh so glad we did. what a gem of a place. Last time we went through it was so busy, but now, it has been bypassed, it is a lovely place to linger. there is so much to do. From the helpful staff at the visitors museum (with a welcome cuppa and biccies) that also is the home of an amazing museum, plus Henry Parkes cottage with audio visual and a replica of Elvis's Graceland's gates with mural behind. Public Art is to be found throughout the town's business precinct. A highly interesting Aircraft museum pen Sundays and Thursdays is a must do. If you have longer venture along the Lachlan to Condobolin to see the amazing sculpture trail culmination in the utes in the Paddock at Condobolin. Plenty of accommodation options and lots of lovely places to eat, especially a quaint chinese resturant opposite woolies with amazing food. We will be back!

Nyngan is a place that we usually just drive through on our way to the Mid North Coast of NSW. But on this occasion we were coming from QLD & stopped in Nyngan. I looked online just an hour or so before arriving there and managed to book a room at the Alamo. We were just up the road from the Supermarket and around the corner from the Aussie Hotel, where we had dinner. Lovely pub with great food. We used the car wash and filled up with petrol. Lovely town with lovely people.

Lake AForbes has been updated with tountains that are pretty as well as a walking track. I lived in forbes all my life. However in last 25 yrs since my last visit things have changed for the better. Lots of parks and the addition of mcdonalds kfc u cant go wrong giving employment to young ones keeping them in the towni just would not recommend BEN HALL MOTEL.
