As a bonus we received a complimentary upgrade which was close to ocean and the fire place where everyone socialised in the evening. Staff in office both on Thursday when I confirmed our booking as well as the couple on Sunday morning as we left were all lovely people,

Gecko logde is superb, specially the breakfast, fresh bread make with scratch, too good. Other things at Gecko was Morning coffee the young boy made was superb. He always take care, very humble and polite. Even the owner was very nice he cut fresh fruit of bowl every morning, 7 different types of fruit made our day. It was easy to get around the sunset cruise and the Kalbarri National park.. we couldn't finish Kalbarri National park in 1 day. Next time we visit again.

Haven't been to Geraldton for a number of years so would have liked to have had more time to explore, - next time. Went out to Greenough to see my Father's old house & was pleasantly surprised at the progress there. We ate at Skeetas for breakfast which was very good, nice pleasant staff. We had dinner at Jade House in town which was also very good food. Geraldton is easy to navigate.

Had a terrible night's sleep due to the very soft mattress. Was only a double bed up against the wall, therefore only one bedside cupboard, no microwave or toaster. We expected a much better room for $200!

I would not recommend this property to anyone, is disgusting, they need big renovations or they need to be knocked down, they have curtains on the doors for the bathroom. the head board for the bed is painted, overall the furniture is disgusting the furniture is old and the rooms are not even a 1 star they are terrible.

Great little coastal town. We visit at least once a year. We come to play Lawn Bowls and enjoy the country hospitality. The beach is great. We enjoyed a meal at the pub and a great coffee at Pannarai Cafe. Wandered around the markets, juts a relaxing few days.

Horrocks is a beautiful quaint town. As I drove over the hilll and caught a glimpse of the beautiful ocean, I was a fan. A small seaside town with friendly people. I asked what I should be doing in Horrocks. “Relaxing, “ was the reply.

Great location, it's located out of town and that suited me perfectly. I was looking for somewhere a bit more out in nature but not too far out in the bush, so this was just what I was after. I will definitely be back, once I find a place that suits me as well as this one does, I really look forward to adding it to my travel itinerary.

Kalbarri is a great place for young to middle-aged people with a car. We went by coach that used to stop at the Riverside Holiday Apartments, but now stops at the Kalbarri Motor Hotel, which is 1.5 kilometres from the Riverside. Unfortunately, the only taxi in Kalbarri was out of action as the driver was ill, so we had to walk everywhere, which was difficult for us as we are elderly.

Geraldton is a more a large country town than a city.

Geraldton is a more a large country town than a city. Their beaches are closely connected to the down-town area and there is a casual, laid-back feel which is very attractive. There are some good cafes and restaurants and all seem busy so best to book. Check out the HMAS Sydney memorial - it is quite thought-provoking. I love watching the ships - in and out of the harbour; being loaded, lit at night. For a harbour, it is all very clean and clinical - quite unlike international ports I have seen. I know retail generally is going through a transition time mainly due to online shopping, but you can't beat good old-fashioned stock knowledge and a sales assistant who can take one look at you, know your size, your colours and what will fit and flatter you. You will find at least 3 stores in the main street who meet that description. The main street itself looks very unloved.
