This place is amazing! The host, Pía, is warm, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed plentiful breakfasts with fresh fruit, yogurt , eggs and Alp cheese. The location is wonderful with beautiful mountain views and a quick walk around the corner to catch the cable car up to numerous hiking trails. They accommodated our two motorcycles in their locked garage which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this B&B. We also hope to return again.

The breakfast was great the food was great everything was ready the seats the area was so good I recommend this to anyone that wants to have a good time. There restaurant is also extraordinary. The hotel is a family run business the workers were great they are all hard workers they speak English very well and always are nice to everyone.

Such a beautiful room and the view was absolutely amazing. The best part of this was the location. Loved the rooms and the whole vibe. The staff were so nice and we would highly recommend this place as a family.

As a cyclist, visiting Meiringen was a major treat.
As a cyclist, visiting Meiringen was a major treat. My wife’s grandfather was born there, so I ended up doing Grosse Scheidegg, Sustenpass and Grimselpass, all from town. I’m a vegan, so I ended up going to Migros, near the bahnhof.

Hasliberg is a nice ski region, not too big but with plenty...
Hasliberg is a nice ski region, not too big but with plenty of cable cars, blue, red and black slopes, tracks for winter hiking and snow shoe trails. Alpen Tower and other restaurants offer a good variety and tasty food, great views too. There are rentals for equipment and staff from restaurants to cable cars and in between are very welcoming. We enjoyed the atmosphere.

We are at Italian pizza restaurant opposite train station. It was expensive for what we had tho.
Train station nearby to go to other attractions & leave car at hotel or base.
Good bus links too.

The mountain setting is phenomenal...it is world-class, no...
The mountain setting is phenomenal...it is world-class, no question!
Despite this, the area is not very touristy compared to other areas
of comparable beauty. It is so different from other more well known
areas where the tourists/visitors are such an overwhelming feature.
The active farming community on Hasliberg is a huge positive..

Good touristic opportunities in walking distance, like the waterfall, Aare gorge, cable car to go to a village with very nice view of the mountains and a place to drink a coffee, even on Sunday. In town you can have a coffee only in restaurants on Sunday, or in a kind of bar which did not give me a good impression.
