The hotel is just at the side of the Chiemsee lake, the view, the location, the park are fantastic. You get this feeling of a classy hotel in magnificent surroundings. It has a private swimming house on a pierce, where you can change and just enjoy the lake. Breakfast -esthetic and meeting every expectation. We were sad to leave, will definitely stay there again. Comfy beds, soundproof walls, very welcoming staff.

Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

I like Bad Reichenhall, It is a very cozy and picturesque place. Even if there weren't so many tourists oriented points around, I'd be getting pleasure just walking through this town. I like the Avalon hotel: its kind stuff, its cozy cafe on the ground floor, its warm atmosphere, and many, many other small things that leave a very pleasant impression. I'd especially express my thanks for disconnecting the rain detector from the marquis management system. This year, I had a chance to have a cigarette looking at the beautiful mountain view sitting on the balcony while it was raining..

We had a nice stay at Gasthof Hotel Bichler. This family run inn perfectly balances authentic Bavarian hospitality with modern, comfortable rooms. The highlight was enjoying delicious, traditional food in their beautiful and cozy beer garden. The staff is very welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. A perfect, relaxing base for exploring the area, highly recommended!

A very pleasant stay at Gasthof Chiemseefischer. The apartment is excellent, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast offer is good and varied. Special praise goes to the waiter Josip, who was extremely friendly and helpful – he gave us great tips and pointed us to all the attractions in the area. The immediate location doesn't offer much, but the lake is nearby and can be explored by bike, with plenty of restaurants and activities for children around it. The proximity to the highway is another big plus, making arrival and onward travel easy. Highly recommended.

This was an exceptional hotel with a great location and view of Chiemsee. It was ideal for hikers and bikers who wanted to explore the foothills of the Alps and the lake below. The restaurant was open all day, which was very convenient for those who could not make it to the traditional cutoff time of two in the afternoon and then having to wait until five in the evening to eat a decent meal. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and convenient.

Inzell is beautiful, lovely views, restaurants, cafes and activities to do. The chiemgau karte is the reason we can back. We hired bikes, played crazy golf, painted pottery, adventure golf, tyre sliding, indoor & outdoor pools, chair lifts, the buses, trains etc all on the card for free. We were then able to buy drinks/ snacks/ dinners at all the venues. It was fantastic. Ban Thai restaurant, Kreinburg, salvatone, vroni & lindl brauer restaurants were all very tasty. More buses on a Sunday would be better.

Ruhpolding is an excellent location for walks, with beautiful scenery in every direction. There are many attractions such as chairlifts, swimming pool, crazy golf etc ,some of which are free of charge with the Visitor Card. Also, bus and local train services are free of charge. We have been to Ruhpolding 15 times and and have enjoyed every holiday even when the weather has not been very favourable.

Suspect this is a winter destination mostly. In summer it is very quiet with few options for evening dining. Very accessible location by car, with rail connections to Munich and Salzburg. Beautiful location at the base of the mountains. Everything you need for an easy stay is in the town- laundry, supermarket, petrol station etc. Easy access by Carr to towns around the big lake. Lots of cycling and hiking going on, and easy to hire electric bikes and boats. Just 11km from Austrian border with cheaper petrol and even better scenery. A great base for a touring holiday round and about. We would go back without hesitation.

Great location and very pleasant staff. The breakfast was fantastic and of high quality. The food in the restaurant was of a high standard, and we were served by a gentleman who understood how to look after guests' needs. We gave them carte blanche on wine pairing from the local area. A real must. In Bavaria, it's a class of its own. The receptionist I would consider to be the best in client service, the waiting staff listened and were friendly but very professional & the cleaning staff made sure everything was ok in the room!

The mountainous landscape and walkable village with a beautiful church interior and friendly congregation for Sunday Mass also.made us feel welcomed. Dinner at Mittelmausen was delectable. A note for English-only speakers, not everyone speaks English. But those who don't are willing to work at communication to help you.

Apartment is good, clean, large perhaps a little out of date. Internet is good and the location is ok. I was there to travel for my work. The owner is strict, only works by her rules. I had to leave my work at a trade fair because she was not willing to accept a later arrival time as 8 hour in the evening. I had to speed from Frankfurt to her place to be in time. At arrival she was very unfriendly with explaining the road. I have not took enough attention to her terms written on Booking. I had to pay cash and had to go to bank to get the money within a deadline of 15 minutes. After such a welcome my mood was cloudy. As said; if you don't like to work with people and service just retire. Sorry never experienced such a treatment.

We were cheated because we have not received the room as shown on bookingcom Personal at reception desk were rude and unpolite. Did no show any curtesy any interest to improve their rude attitude.

Pleasant short stay in Rosenheim.

Pleasant short stay in Rosenheim. The city center is charming, with several restaurants offering local cuisine and excellent regional beers. Conveniently located less than an hour south of Munich, Rosenheim is also a great gateway to the Alps and Tyrol.

I came to Ruhpolding to watch the World Cup Biathlon race...

I came to Ruhpolding to watch the World Cup Biathlon race held there. The town is beautiful and easy to get to via auto or train. My hope is to return in the summer sometime and enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities.
