He also packed a picnic breakfast for the next day because we were leaving before the restaurant opened. The customer service was outstanding!

Our stay at La Marina Resort was absolutely fantastic! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The facilities, restaurants, and activities were all very well organized and incredibly entertaining. Honestly, you could spend your entire vacation inside the resort—it has everything you could possibly need!
We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like mid-stay cleaning and towel changes every 3–4 days. There are several restaurants, cafés, and shops on-site, offering great variety and all at very reasonable prices.
The water parks were amazing! Our bungalow in the Bali Village zone was located right next to the Bali Pool, which had such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
In one word — highly recommended! We’ll definitely be coming back to La Marina Resort.

Quick walk to a sandy beach. Parking is free and on site right beside your accomodation. The bungalows are adorable, comfortable, clean and in good condition. Nice little patio to sit, eat, drink and relax on. All the facilities you could need are on site (showers, pool, cafe/bar, restaurant, grocery store). The prices for food and drink are not expensive. You can check in late. Super close to big cities like Benidorm and Alicante. One of the cheapest accomodations available in this area.

The hotel is beautiful with a lot of tasteful, charming personal touches ....it is clearly not part of a chain! It's pretty much on the beach, breakfast was very good, and the location - about 10 min by rental car to the Centre of Denia - was great for our purposes.

Alicante is a beautiful coastal city with a wonderful atmosphere. It has lovely beaches, a charming old town, and a picturesque port. The weather is fantastic, the people are friendly, and there are plenty of great restaurants and cafés. Walking along the promenade and visiting Santa Bárbara Castle are must-do experiences. Alicante is the perfect destination for both relaxation and sightseeing.

The Torrevieja area is lovely, particularly the Punta Prima to La Zenia areas. The area is accessible via the N332 road which joins all of the localities. Whether you want a lively break or a quiet retreat, you will find something you like here.
The short regular flights from the UK are an added bonus.
We like that it isn’t too over crowded wherever you go, although weekends can be busier on the beaches.

Denia is a wonderful destination with a perfect mix of beautiful beaches, charming old town streets, and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. Denia feels authentic and not overly crowded, which makes it especially enjoyable for a peaceful getaway. The beaches are clean and spacious, ideal for both relaxing and long walks. The old town is full of character, with narrow streets, historic buildings, and a lovely castle with stunning views.

Calpe is a vibrant resort with plenty of bars and restaurants and the resort is predominantly Spanish. There are plenty of shops to explore and the old town is accessed by a hop on hop hop off tourist train. The beach is lovely and the sea is shallow.

All in all varied beaches Javea . The Arenal sand , the Porte pebble / some small area sand. Lots of sea sports , jet ski , scuba, boat rental with or without captain . Not rowdy . Restaurants for all tastes. Felt Moraira better in the evening for vibes / Restaurants. The arenal getting slightly tired over the years, and as with coastal locations getting pricey .Javea still a great place to visit and would come again. Two weeks would be tops.

The area is hilly but we knew that. The beach was stoney and you need swim shoes to go into the water. We forgot ours so had to buy some there. The colour of the sea is amazing and warm to swim in. It gets deep very quickly but we liked that. We also paid for sun beds on the beach which were €8 each as was an umbrella.
The church and main square are hopping at night . There are lovely shops and restaurants to eat in. We had tapas and drinks in the main square and relaxed.
We got the bus from the airport - only downside is that there are only 4 a day so we had to wait 1.5 hours for hours. I would recommend buying your tickets first as you get on the bus first.
Will definitely return.

El Campello is less touristy than many other areas and this was exactly what we hoped for. The landscape is stunning, the beaches also stunning. There is plenty of choice of places to eat and a good selection of shops and supermarkets. Using the Tram service is easy and very reasonably priced enabling visits to Alicante City and various other places. We could not fault the area nor the people we spoke to. All were welcoming friendly and helpful if we asked for directions or advice.

Santa pola is only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. It still retains a Spanish feel and a family culture. We always felt safe and it was clean with a nice marina surrounded by bars and restaurants. It is flat so walking is good and the beach is long and wide.

Albir has a lot to offer, a great beach although be ware it is pebbles, a short walk or bus ride to Altea where it is sand. There are plenty of shops, places to eat, kids play areas on the beach and opposite, a few local craft stalls and amazing ice creams! One evening there was a full orchestra near the sea front, it was lovely.
Busses are easy to get. We visited a few other places, Calpe, Altea and Benidorm as well as Villa Joyosa. Finistrat also worth a visit for sandy beach too. The metro was fun and very impressive. We will definitely visit again when cooler and head for some mountain exploring. The scenery is also quite lovely.
