The location was right on the Main Street, close to shops, restaurants and a trail for walking. Parking is first come first serve, a bit tight for large cars, but there is another parking lot nearby for which you have to pay during the day. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice, a combination of English and continental. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff very friendly. A welcome drink is offered, and we could play games in the lounge/bar area. The price per night is very decent, especially since it included breakfast, and our rooms were of a good size.

Breakfast was probably one of the best cooked breakfasts I have ever had (and least greasy) Our room was extremely spacious and exceeded our expectations. But it was the staff who made our visit so perfect. Francisco was a great help with our booking and Natasha (receptionist/waitress) and Harry (barman) were exceptional. Collectively they made our stay such a memorable one. We will be back !

Located in the countryside near the lake, the place is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. It has 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with heating. It’s right in the heart of the Highlands. Just note that sometimes Google Maps doesn’t take you to the exact spot, so be careful when driving there. There are also shops nearby in the neighboring village.

The location was excellent. It is a great waypoint between Stirling and Aviemore. The service was top-notch. I loved that it is family-owned and run. The Scottish breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed our breakfast host, who was the owner's mother Cathy. The rooms were sparkling and comfortable. The bathrooms were also sparkling, with a wonderful shower.

Great location if you have a car but the room that I had was not good. The mattress was like sleeping on springs. The fitted sheet had crease marks where someone had been on it. The quilt cover I had to put on myself had a creased pillow case inside it and to top it all the shower only ran cold. Very disappointing. I would not recommend at all.

Best part of the stay was sitting in the conservatory with a coffee and my book, windows open with the sun going down over the beautiful loch and over looking Scheihallion. But be prepared for the roads being windey and slow from Pitlochry, bit less from Blair Athol. Both towns worth a visit. We had a lovely walk throughKinloch Rannoch and down to the loch on the first night, plenty of restaurants but we ate at home. Then spent a full exhausting but fun day at the Scout Jamborette in Blair Athol next day and ate in Blair Athol.
