Lots of charm and character - with wonderful landscapes - and red squirrels! Great hosts, comfy, and spacious room. Great to be able to have cheese and charcuterie in the evening in one of the guest areas. We loved our stay here.And the breakfast was fabulous!! Parkview is a charming apartment in an old Victorian holiday let. It is located 3 minutes from the train station, and across the street from Birnam Arts, which has a coffee shop, concerts, classes, a wee art musem and the Beatrix Potter Museum. Everything else you need is over the bridge in Dunkeld. Diane has put together a terrific library and the decor is tasteful and homey. The kitchen is well equipped- I was able to bake cookies, and entertain a guest for dinner. Diane was helpful about things to do in the area.

There are some nice cafes to eat or for just a cuppa during the day but nothing seems to stay open after about 8pm for dinner much the same as other small towns in Scotland. Had a small fish from highly acclaimed fish shop. Wow was that less than average. Smallest, thinnest fried fish ever!! Plenty to explore, Cathedral in gorgeous setting. Beautiful little streets and square round cathedral area. Beatrix Potter exhibition in Birnam. Small place packs a lot in.

Pretty village with a great deli. Decent riverside bistro/restaurant/bar/pizza options for eating out. There is a limited amount to do in Dunkeld itself but it is in an ideal location for exploring the Cairngorms.

Fantastic location surrounded by the trees and gorgeous river just in front of the property that makes a big difference when you're walking alongside, majestic deer looks like they're not afraid of people. Room was clean and comfortable, delicious dinner & breakfast, swimming pool also clean and safe staff friendly and nice. We fell in love with this place , definitely will recommend it.

Property was fabulous. Lovely rooms and staff. Breakfast was the best with lots of options. Dinner needs changing up with specials for dinner and dessert. Was same menu every day. Room was a bit stuffy. Need portable fans. We had a window that opened but did not really help. Swimming pool and spa was lovely. Staff was amazing. Shout out to Annia who found a tick on my leg during a massage. No idea wher it came from as i stayed on the path.

It is an extremelly picturesque and in parts quaint town!

It is an extremelly picturesque and in parts quaint town! It does have its own railway station, and a very good bus service! The Hermitage is a MUST SEE! In Burnam, (Mentioned in Macbeth) the walks are superb through the Glen, and the Beatrix Potter gardens are a must see also.

Absolutely amazing wee lodge, perfect for couples, my partner and I loved it! Such a stunning lodge and a good size with the right amount of facilities for a few nights stay. The hot tub was absolutely great and so relaxing, especially after coming back from walking one of Dunkeld's many hillwalking routes! Nice and quiet but still within good distance to Dunkeld. We were blown away especially for the very reasonable price, highly recommend!

Amazing little hotel, nice and clean, everything we needed. It was room 3 with kitchen and a bathroom so really like a little flat. Very good location, just a 10 min walk from the main bit in Dunkeld so perfect if you want a quiet place to rest. Good communication with the host. 5 stars from us.
