Parkview is a charming apartment in an old Victorian holiday let. It is located 3 minutes from the train station, and across the street from Birnam Arts, which has a coffee shop, concerts, classes, a wee art musem and the Beatrix Potter Museum....

Although the host wasn’t in town at the time, we had a slight problem with the heating and she solved it from far away very efficiently. The kitchen really had everything that you could need including a washing machine was very well equipped.

Parkview Apartment has been lovingly restored over many years and has many interesting features including a first floor balcony with seating for two, split level open kitchen, lounge and dining space with stained glass windows. There is a double bedroom with TV and a large wardrobe and a single bedroom next to the shower room. There is Wi-fi and a Freeview TV box in the lounge with plenty of books and would be ideal for a romantic getaway, or even a workcation where you can refocus, recharge and get creative. In addition, there is a shared garden at the back of the property, ideal if you need to dry out wet kit or read a book / have a BBQ
5 minutes walk from Dunkeld and Birnam railway station which is on the mainline to Inverness. Being in the gateway to Highland Perthshire there are plenty of hillwalking paths and mountain biking trails straight out the front door so even without a car there is plenty to see and do, and an ideal base for day trips to Inverness, Dundee, Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ednburgh.
