"There were multiple options for trails depending on how long and far you want to hike. Amenities at set locations along the trails were nicely maintained, organized and kept clean (cafes, picnic tables, restrooms). The waterfalls and lakes (on sunny days) are some of the most naturally green and clear water I have ever seen. I recommend getting your ticket online ahead of time to make certain that you get the entry time you prefer. The later you go, the more difficult the crowds. My only complaint is the crowds. Ours were manageable (first half of September) but still very crowded. You won't feel like you're enjoying nature's beauty in solitude but the surroundings are well worth it."

The location was perfect, once we parked our vehicle everything was was accessible. Short walk to #1 entrance, hotel provided shuttle to Luka Kuća restaurant which was great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

Nice place to sta before or after visitin Plitvickie lakes, but to find good property for stay is very hard, good photos, but in reality not so good. checked several on the spot before stay, was disappointed on the most of them after comparing with booking. If you are planning to visit lakes my suggestion is to stay here before.

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

A nice little town for one or two not too long walks,...

A nice little town for one or two not too long walks, including climbing to not high hill with ruins of old fortress or a bit longer walk along the Gacka River at the edge of town with a lot of birds in the water or on the banks. The Gacka River museum that is supposed to be interesting is closed because of reconstruction that, according to local people, probably won't finish before the end of 2008. More interesting places are nearby, from several springs of Gacka with small lakes, mills and a fish farm; a Velebit mountain museus and the forestry museum in neighbour house are situated in village Krasno from where the roads lead to National park (including hiking tracks, bothanic garden etc) and for adventurous souls an adrenaline park with a very long zip-line. People ready for a bit longer drive (within an hour) can reach old coast town Senj, Tesla memorial centre in his birthplace Smiljan, the capital of Lika county Gospić with its big (and open...) museum, National park Plitvice lakes - one of most famous places in Croatia, and Cerovačke spilje, two beautiful caves on one location.

I think this place for relaxing like our Carpathians in Ukraine. Calm, nature, views and just you (at least in the evening). I stayed for one night because visited Plitvice lakes. For that trip in my opinion this place not very suitable - 8km from the park. You can get there just by car or taxi. There is no public transport or I don’t know about it. Although I enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful place!

Wonderful place! Close to Plitvica Jezera and to Bosna, you can reach a long list of beautiful towns and natural sites in a short time driving, both in Hrvatska and Bosna. The village is small and quiet with gourgeous natural areas all around (not only Plitvice or Una river Narodni Park...). An excellent choice, highly recommended!

To be honest - I most liked the apartment. we came in the winter, used it as a stop over on the way to Split and were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and comfort we found there. Apartment is well appointed and had everything we needed.

The lakes and waterfalls are spectacular.

The lakes and waterfalls are spectacular. The wooden walkways are tricky in places especially as there were lots of people on site mid June. The facilities at P3 were also very busy around lunchtime, and more large groups were arriving. Maybe being a Saturday was particularly busy
