Ben even made an extra effort to ensure the house was ready beforehand so we could change into our wedding outfits. Also extras laid on like tea and coffee milk etc. Excellent facilities. I can’t recommend enough.

Wonderful location. Staff were excellent and extremely accommodating and the pool was very nice and warm,we enjoyed the pool twice during our stay.The breakfast was top. The interior is slightly nostalgic and cosy.It is a true Gem. They have their own Jam! Will come back in the near future.

A lovely, clean and friendly town with many places of interest to visit and some fine eateries in and around the whole area.
A winner of Tidy Towns, this place is a credit to the local population.
A great place as a base as well, in order to explore a lovely part of Ireland.

Leitrim is a fabulous county. Alot going on. Of course the weather was fab....no matter where we went you were treated so well........another good place to eat is the Blue way Lodge in Leitrim village....joe mooney festival excellent and the Gin distillery tour was brilliant...

We had a fantastic stay at Belle View House in Mohill, Leitrim. The house was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. Stella, the host, was absolutely excellent—she went above and beyond by leaving a thoughtful food parcel and even toys for the kids, which made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A very pretty village on the Shannon.
A very pretty village on the Shannon. There are 3 bars each with restaurants & a cafe in the village. There is a buzz in all of the bars. People are very friendly. You can get a train from Dublin to the village of Dromod for a day trip (met someone who was doing that) or a weekend. One Bar/Restaurant in about 2 mins walk from the train. The Village is about 6-7 mins walk. You can hop on the train (get a return) which will bring you to Carrick on Shannon & return within a few hours so you dont need a car.

Nice friendly town.
Nice friendly town. We attended an event in the Island theatre which is a great asset to the town. Great pub grub served in Smiths and we enjoyed a pint in The Poor Scholar. Taxi service not great in the town.

Manorhamilton is a great centre for visiting the surrounding area which has many beautiful places. We visited Fowley's Falls in Rossinver-- Fantastic cascades and great 2 hour walk from the top down to the Organic Centre.

I know Carrick very well having spent many weekends and...
I know Carrick very well having spent many weekends and midweek trips there. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and stay in the town. Lots of nice quirky shops and a market some days. I found Friday in January particularly quiet. The pubs were empty with more staff than patrons. The summer is a different story altogether with hen and stags everywhere you turn.

Dromod is a really charming village, neat and tidy with pretty flower beds. Lovely and relaxing to stroll down to the quay and see the boats mooring. Three pubs providing food, and a local shop, all walking distance, we dined in Cox's and it was excellent. The train station is right in the village so you don't need to drive to get there.

We spent just one night in the area at Lough Rynn Castle. We went into Mohill wanting more food options than what was offered at the castle for our 6 year old and were shocked to discover there isn't a single restaurant you can eat at. There are pubs that doesn't serve food and a few take away places but no where you can sit down and enjoy a meal. The Castle did have two dining options and they did appear to have a wide variety of foods.

3 local pubs however lack of vegan / vegetarian options on all menus however we were catered for in our B & B/pub
