John was an exceptional host, very friendly and had an abundance of resources for recommendations of things to do locally. Breakfast was always excellent and homemade. The property was beautiful. My son loved walking down the driveway to pet the ponies.

Everything was fabulous from checking to checking out ARTHER on reception went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after as did Sarah and all the staff in the bars and restaurant it was one of the best experiences we have had in all our travels worldwide as my wife and I are both in our mid 80 and we’re looked after as if we were family

Everything was really super! We especially loved the chance to cool down the room at night with the fan system. It meant that we slept really well!

Really nice hotel in the middle of town. Bed was comfortable. Nice sized entry room. View out to the river was lovely. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, was nice. No complaints, would be back again
