Lovely buffet breakfast, great food! Location was exceptional and walking distance to everywhere. Large room and spacious bathroom. Great place to stay!

Breakfast room was delightfully decorated. Staff were so friendly. Fantastic choice of food.

Lovely decor, very clean rooms and very friendly and attentive staff.

Warm welcome from staff, big comfortable room and bed, great breakfast and lunch. It's a popular hotel and busy, and we were assisted very quickly each time we had a request. When we came back to the hotel, one night there was a chorale group singing in the restaurant. Very nice place to stay in Kilkenny and lots of parking. It was close to good shops and parking in town. We went on the Shenanigans walking tour of Kilkenny and parked all day at the Market Yard car park by Dunnes store which as a department store and grocery store.

Room was a good size, quite quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent and they had Guinness Zero on tap - a treat for those of us from the UK!

Very nice hotel and very clean

Everything was great! The room was comfortable, the pub was welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. Really good value for money. Located in the centre of the town for easy walking around Kilkenny.

Great service friendly staff Excellent Breakfast

The guest rooms are all a newly built addition to the Orchard House (we were told while being helped to our room). The rooms are well built, good size and fully equipped, en suite was especially nice with good water pressure and dual shower heads. Located on outskirts of town so it's very peaceful and lovely property, (roof patio accessible from guest room hallway). The restaurant downstairs is was excellent! It was obviously a popular spot with the locals as well but never felt crowded or overwhelmed. Additionally - I accidentally left a Penney's bag full of random items in my room after checking out. The staff worked to get in contact with me (very quickly but I didn't notice until later), and secured the bag for me to retrieve a few days later.

It's close to the city and there's a nearby car park around.

We stayed here as a party of 5, the room was perfect for us and each of us had a single bed. The shower was good and there was plenty of towels. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the main street. We stayed on a saturday night and had no issue with noise from other guests. Perfect hotel if you are going out exploring for the day with friends.

We liked how small and quaint the hotel is. 5 min drive for the town center. The beds and rooms were cute and comfortable. The bar is small and intimate.

Everything was fine except the property is a bit dated. Staff, excellent, food, excellent, value for money, excellent, parking excellent

Lovely centrally located hotel. Louise at reception was the best.
