Everything about this hotel spoke "quality". Reception welcome, friendly staff, attention to detail in the room, luxurious touches such as body lotion, conditioner, biscuits, robes and slippers... modern light and curtain and heating and door indications controls. Food was excellent. Gym and spa small but comfortable and great for city centre location.

We had a fantastic stay at Green Isle. The room was spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with a large bed and all the amenities we needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and always being ready to help. The breakfast spread was also impressive, with plenty of choices to get you started for the day. It was our first time in Dublin and front desk manager Rajesh was exceptionally helpful to take time and patience to explain to us in detail the bus and train routes to Knock Shrine. The evenings at the bar area were so lively and entertaining and food was good too We will surely visit again!

The room was absolutely gorgeous. Spacious and impecibly clean. The breakfast was great, better than most hotels I've recently been at, with continential options available in the buffet, then you order off the menu for your "mains". The pancakes and bacon were delicious. The porridge was a bit too liquid for my preference. The big fry was enourmous. Leixlip is a lovely little area, very pretty. For us it was far from where we had wanted to stay initially (Blanchardstown), but the commute was fine. The hotel is in a lovely location with scenic walks along the river and right in the middle of everything.

A great place to stop after getting off the ferry in the evening. It's pretty easy to get to via the tunnel and the m50. Expect some congestion on the M50 at busy times. Once you get to the hotel, Leixlip is a pleasant, calm place to unwind with high quality and budget eating available. I usually go to the Salmon Leap Inn, but in good weather you could have a takeaway on the river bank. The great advantage is that you are clear of Dublin rush hour traffic the next morning so you can make a flying start to your next destination.

Hi the town blanchardstown was fine but it was the carton hotel in the blanchardstown that was absolutely horrendous I would not recommend it to anyone ruined my whole holiday and my son 1st time to Dublin it was a surprise birthday present for him i ended up spending more money than what I had budgeted for it was horrible experience i could not wait to get out of the hotel if I had enough money i would have changed hotels 1st night there i paid upfront for 5 nights with carlton hotel i lost out on money as the staff were time wasters i complained numerous times about various things and nothing was listened to and nothing got done

It has a fantastic shopping centre with various food venues but are only a very small number of it closes at 9pm. In the area but here are only a very small number of eating places open in the evening. We were there for a business matter, I don't think it's particularly good for leisure in the evenings,

Loved the Christmas atmosphere, and the very friendly and helpful staff. Also dinner was very good.We had the Christmas dinner and waiter suggested I have a smaller portion as it was very large.Very glad I did as it was more than enough. Not a lot to do in Lucan itself but some lovely l8ttle coffee shops and pubs.Large shopping centre just 10-15mins drive so easily accessible.

Golden Dawn accommodation is located at end of Rathcoole village just off main Cork Dublin M7 motorway on edge of Dublin City. A highly recommended location for those needing to go airport next day (simply drive on M7 towards M50 Ring Road and continue to airport). Dined at The Poitin Still pub restaurant 1.5km away - famous place, recommended for food - much history in the pictures and plaques on walls - a local crowd, not touristy. The Rathcoole Inn is another good food & drink place. Local area feels "rural" with nice wooded parks for walking, away from the city.
