Absolutely gorgeous stayed one night but wish it was more. Gorgeous place. We came late January so it was definitely quite definitely the only people even staying there that night. The lady in the morning (didn’t catch her name blonde hair) she was so sweet and gentle. She even brought our breakfast in the room for us which was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. The bed and pillows are clouds. The jacuzzi bath tub was absolutely lovely. Parking was free. The place is just stunning. I could only imagine it in the summer. We didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant because it’s closed for dinner on sundays but open for lunch. We heard from my boyfriend’s friends that it is top notch. Monte di Procida is a special place to visit for me (my father was born and raised there) so I’m glad we found a lovely spot to stay that feels like home for our visits. Will definitely return to try their restaurant and have another cozy romantic stay again

Faro Punta Imperatore is unlike any hotel we have ever stayed in. The location is just jaw dropping….its peak luxury and style but with no pretentiousness. Special shout out to Chef Antonio, who is an absolute master of his craft. Michelin quality food in a stunning setting. This is a once in a lifetime spot, do not miss it.

This was a great clean hotel with breakfast, centrally located, nearby shops, restaurants, and a walk from Ischia Port. The rooms are pretty good size, the staff were all amazing making our vacation as wonderful as can be. From Ernesto the bartender, to the ladies at the front desk, to the kind, English speaking extremely helpful front desk manager, and finally to the restaurant manager who was so accommodating, gave me a tray of food to take to the room because my teenagers were sleeping and not feeling so great. Thank you for everything ❤️ we sincerely appreciate all your hard work and wonderful customer service of going above and beyond.

Salt pool was amazing to lounge around Hotel was walking distance to great places like Mezzatore for dinner Breakfast was the best experience I've ever had at any hotel in Italy or Europe TBH Hotel had a wide range of pool options and was a beautiful sea scenic view Huge property so it felt like you were in a private estate with very little people to bother you Picked up from the port in a Tesla - 1 of the only 2 on the island Evening staff were by far the most helpful in giving us strong local options to truly experience our time. If I could rate this hotel at 11/10 I would. The location, facilities, attentive and helpful staff, the private beach/onsite spa, and incredible breakfast made my stay unforgettable. Everything was above and beyond all expectations. WiFi worked perfectly across the entire property and the bed was soooooo comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer. Ischia is a wonderful, magical island.

The room was really cool, the lighting was spectacular and the views were breathtaking. Also the staff was very pleasant. The front office Poloa was so incredibly nice and helped me with arranging dinner/lunch and also getting a taxis to and from the archeology park. My trip was so much better because of her help.

This was a new destination and one of my friends advised me to visit Forio as a summer vacation direction and I am very thankful her for this chance, The Island was very nisce, clean and the sea was fantastic. I fell in love with Ischia and will advice my freiends to plan one of the best summer vactaion option. By the way, the most inportant tnhig in Forio is its Sunsets. You will fell in love with it, it was unique. I love you Forio.

Ischia Town has lots of moderately priced but very nice shops, some lovely restaurants on the water with beautiful views and charming decor. Closes relatively early on Tuesdays. The town is very close to the castle, a relatively short and beautiful stroll to see the sights in the lively downtown area.

A small island easily walkable but offers public transportation. The locals are welcoming. A refreshing break from the busy cities. The narrow roads are shared by cars, scooters, ebikes and pedestrians. Attention must be paid when walking around!! Procida is easy to access by ferries from Naples. Very worth a visit.

The family was very helpful .

The family was very helpful . They answered our questions, made recommendations on what to see, where to go and how to get there (including types of buses and bus numbers). They recommended a great restaurant for our final night on the island. We had a great time at the Anchor with superb food and nice romantic music.

Pozzuoli itself isn't especially interesting, it's just a...

Pozzuoli itself isn't especially interesting, it's just a port. The area though is very interesting. Research where you want to go before you arrive. Some bits are more interesting than others, for example Arco Felice is dominated by a big factory while the Roman remains are soe distance away. There is good public transport.

Where can I start?

Where can I start? Our stay at Casa Nicola was excellent with a very friendly host, Marisa taking her pride to accommodate us, as if her house guests! Chosen very comfortable rooms, cleaned & maintained impeccably by her family members. And amazing food she cooked every night, rustic homemade pasta soups followed by the varieties of tasty mains, - meat and fish prepared simply but all with care & attentions. Her homemade cakes at both breakfast and dinner were delights, - one evening we found out that was Marisa’s birthday, she fed all the guests a feast, a delicate quiche, sea bream and homemade ‘Ferra- Roche’ like chocolate truffles but 1000% yummier! On our departure, she gave us big hugs just like what family friends does, with eagerly handed us big lemons. No wonder many of the guests wish to come back there, since Madam Nicola first time lodged a German artist more than 40 years ago. Grazie, Marisa and all the family for being so hospitable. We had a wonderful time in Ischia, your lovely island!

Lacco Ameno has a nice relaxed vibe and comes to life in the evening. The little boutique shops and restaurants and bars are all open. It feels like Lacco Ameno is a little more “up market”. It feels safe and not too busy or noisy. If you feel like a change of scenery it’s easy to buy bus tickets in the supermarket to travel to another town.

Almost only Italians are in Bacoli, very few international tourists, which makes it a special experience. You can just relax and enjoy the sea at several beaches, many of which are free, like Spiaggia del Poggio and Lido Schiacchetiello. There's quite a large supermarket on Via Roma with lots of nice local cheese, meat and fruits & veggies. Everything within Bacoli is walking distance. We used public transport to get there and around, EAV buses run mostly on schedule to reach for instance, Pozzuoli. Pozzuoli may be a better choice to stay if you want to discover the Roman ruins and the islands. There are some things to see and do in Bacoli as well, like visiting the Castle with amazing Roman sculptures and the Piscina Mirabilis is also interesting to see.

It was way out of Naples and access to the beach is impossible without a car, not much affordable transport options in Italy. I would not return to Varcaturo and probably not Italy for that matter. This experience has put us off! The owners of our hotel are the only reason we would consider returning to Italy due to there warm hospitality but sadly wouldn’t stay there again solely due to the location.
