This was our third stay at an Onko Chishin hotel (Matsuyama and Hakuba were our others) and it was just as lovely. Rooms were spectacular, staff great and the food excellent. Somehow I must have booked a special meal plan which, we thought, was too much food. I know, not a normal comment, but non-the-less, we thought it a bit too much.

Great place to base in Goto Islands. A bit remote and you will need a car to get around as no restaurants or grocery stores are nearby. They offer a convenient and reasonably priced rental car for guests to use, which is well worth the $$$ as it is great to cruise around Goto. So beautiful. The space is also great, plenty of room with a great kitchen. They also offer free access to ebikes which is especially nice given the many small country lanes to cruise around close to the house. Overall great stay!

Staff was very friendly and flexible. They upgraded our room when we got there. Also even our plan was not included meal, I asked for next day breakfast at last moment because town bakery will be closed on Wednesday, they modified breakfast for us,. It was so nice. Also our room has the best view facing harbour.
