Everything. The place is beautiful, the setting is great but most of ALL the staff goes above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. We unfortunately both got very sick most likely due to an outing where we ate some bad food, and even in the middle of the night everybody helped so incredibly well!!! Don't know how we would have done this without al the incredible staff.

The hippos! Oh, the hippos! I could honestly praise the food, drink, staff and whatever else, but guys – the hippos just roam around at night grazing grass and looking bossy 🦛🦛🦛 When you look out the room window, you can see a zebra standing right in front of it chewing the flowerbed, or the monkeys playing tag in the yard...I mean, what more do you need??? There's zebras, bucks, monkeys, pelicans and so many more creatures just roaming around (an mind you, not one or two – they roam in families, groups, they play, fight, run, walk, fly, graze, steal your food (🐒)) – honestly, the boat safari wasn't the pearl of Naivasha – staying at this hotel was.

Stunning views of the Kilimanjaro.. Very friendly staff available 24hrs when needed.. Carried out own supplies but there is an in-house caretaker who can help with cooking and cleaning. For the cheap price this place has a lot to offer and great potential

It is a great place to be with lot of facilities making it convenient for a weekend get away- the road is great, smooth though with traffic you may experience a bit of jam. Lots of option for eating and places to visit including Menengai, Hyrax hill, Lord Egerton castle and Njoro caves for hikes and picnicking experience

I'd definitely recommend two nights in Naivasha to visit Hell's Gate park and go on the boat tour on Lake Naivasha. It is a nice escape from the chaos of the big city and offers a quiet getaway. My favourite things to do in Naivasha were bike riding and rock climbing in Hell's Gate. You can also go to Lake Nakuru from here. It is around 65 km from here (1 hour drive).

I loved the staff treatment and hospitality, they were very patient and helpful. Food was well done to my liking,ooh and the quite environment, I could do my work with minimal disturbance. In the morning there's a clear view of Mt Kilimanjaro which was spectacular!

We stayed at Lala Inn to be close tom lake Elementaita. This is not a review for Gilgil town ( which actually has very little to offer). There are tracks leading down to the lake, for which you can use a normal saloon car, 4WD would be better. For nature lovers and birdwatchers, the lake is worth at least one full day, or even 2 days. I will return.

Web site a bit misleading as it appears to be on the lake but in fact there is no lake access but a tiny view of it if you walk to the far end of the garden and peer through the trees. Garden very over grown and has run down feel. Lovely lady who runs the place who did everything she could to welcome us. Quite basic room but value for money. A few campers - basic breakfast available

The area is just perfect for a roadtrip, 3.5 hours from Nairobi, the road from Emali is smooth, scenic and not too long. The views of Mt. Kilimanjaro are most wonderful thing about Kimana. Its a small town but we found a nice somali restaurant - Savanna with delicious food. Its best to be in kimana with a car for easy movement and best activity is to visit the Amboseli National Park via Kimana Gate.

Amboseli was absolutely amazing and truly unforgettable. I had an incredible time and only wished I could have stayed longer. My friend Tammy also had an amazing experience, and my nephew Brian said this was a once-in-a-lifetime vacation that he will always remember. Some of my favorite moments were seeing the incredible wildlife, enjoying the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and experiencing the peaceful beauty of the park. Getting around was easy thanks to our outstanding driver, Austin, who was knowledgeable, professional, and made every game drive enjoyable.

The food was great, the hot showers amazing. The views from our room was perfect .... could see the park well. The staff were all pleasant, and helpful. The lodge organised a tour guide for us.... Patrick was amazing and very patient on the game drive.... we were happy with the drive. Agnes was always very reassuring and always ready to help. The front office staff always very welcoming. We got to the lodge very late on the day of arrival, and Waithera at the front desk, kept engaging with us until we got there. She was very encouraging. The kitchen staff had kept dinner for us even that late. Thank you so much. Definately I place I would love to return to.

The main attraction of Naivasha is the lake, especially for...

The main attraction of Naivasha is the lake, especially for naturalists and bird watchers. It is possible to drive all the way round the lake these days . ( The road is improved compared to past years), it can be done in a normal saloon car, but is rough in sections.
