Excellent management by Nadeeka and her staff. Spotlessly clean bedroom, bathroom, dining area. Very comfortable bed with quality linens. Easy arrangements for safaris. Close to National Park entrance. Friendly staff. Excellent birdwatching from the back verandah. Good choice of meal options.

Wonderful hosts, really kind and helpful. Very clean rooms, great food, great location for safari. Really comfortable, definitely recommend coming here! Also recommend walking to the nearby lake from the home.

Our experience at Wildhideaway Wilpattu was the highlight of our Srilanka trip. It is an amazing experience. Situated right on the edge of Wilpattu National park these minimalist cottages provide an authentic feeling of oneness with nature. The srilankan cuisine served every evening was a curated menu of traditional Srilankan dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Served under the starlight the lantern lit dinners were highly enjoyable and very relaxing. The main reason we would always choose wildhideaway wilpattu to stay and safari with is its owner Mr Anto. His inimitable passion and dedication towards wildlife and photography is inspiring. He keeps himself aware on the animal sightings to give those who safari with him a greater chance of of catching a glimpse of these majestic creatures. On our safari we saw, leopards, elephant, sloth bear, hyena, python, crocodile and several others. The stay was simple comfortable. The rooms have been thoughtfully and sustainably designed. Tea and breakfast can be had while relaxing on the verandah. The stay at Wildhideaway Wilpattu taste of the raw beauty of Srilankan wilderness the memories will last us a lifetime.

SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.

The staff at Big Game was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was very kind and helpful. The camp gives you a real safari experience. The facilities were very nice for a tent camping. We also really enjoyed the daily activities that were scheduled, the romantic apero aside the campfire and the tasty dinner by candle light. We planned our safari with them and got a wonderful guide who taught us everything about the Wilpattu national park and its inhabitants. Would definitely recommend

The staff and service was what stands out the most, they do their best to ensure you are always safe and clean. It's on the expensive side but what you are paying for is the extensive knowledge of the guide on the safari which is missing in other places. We have both learnt a lot about different animals and behaviours on this safari and it's an experience that will stay with us forever

I did a solo trip to Wilpattu and stayed in one of the tents...

I did a solo trip to Wilpattu and stayed in one of the tents, and I absolutely loved the experience. The tent was very spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The team arranged my safari, which made everything so easy, and I was able to order a delicious dinner as well as a packed breakfast to take with me on the early morning safari. Their hospitality was excellent throughout my stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Wilpattu. A perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience the wildlife.

Largest NP in SL.

Largest NP in SL. Think with the highest density of leopards in South Asia. But due to the roads inside the NP getting damaged due to a strong cyclone in Nov25, access to some parts of the park is restricted. But still its an interesting place to visit

We love everything, including food, location, and the setup. We had such an awesome experience there. But the price is a bit higher than we expected, and if you are flexible with date changes after the reservation, it will attract more travelers.
