The property was small and personal , staff so welcoming,and the rooms very spacious , modern and extremely clean. Great location for Malecon, and brilliant views from rooftop pool and verandas, close access to beach with chairs and parasol free to use for guests. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast in patio area a bonus .

Everything is great in this place. The rooms, the location, the staff. The only thing I might say it can improve is the pool, it’s very small for the amount of people staying, I couldn’t even use it because it was full of people. Other than that it was quite a great experience

Nomada Wellness is a wonder sanctuary just one block from the beach and a few blocks to town. And the best view from the rooftop pool! What was best was the welcoming energy and care the owner gave me upon arrival. Having yoga classes right there was also fabulous.

Amazing hotel. We LOVED the location. The design is just beautiful but what makes it the best hotel in the area is its staff. We truly appreciated all of them. Amazing pools. We stayed at Grand Principal Vallarta for 7 days and 7 nights, and overall we had a truly wonderful experience. First of all, I want to highlight the high level of service. The staff was always attentive, friendly, and professional. The entire property is very clean, beautifully maintained, and everything feels organized and well cared for. We were especially impressed by the kids’ entertainment program — it is truly at the highest level. There are so many activities, and you can see that the team genuinely cares about creating a fun and safe environment for children. The food at the main buffet restaurant was very diverse and delicious. There were plenty of options every day, and we never felt bored with the variety. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful ocean view. Every single day we could see whales jumping and swimming in the ocean right from the hotel, since it was whale season — that alone made the trip unforgettable. The pools and beach area are excellent. Everything is well designed and maintained, and we always managed to find available lounge chairs without stress. I also want to mention the jungle area within the hotel — it’s stunning. You can tell they take care of it. There are many peaceful spots where you can relax surrounded by greenery. It’s very beautiful and very clean. We used the gym regularly, and it is in great condition with plenty of equipment. Yoga mats and everything needed are provided. We also visited the spa and really enjoyed it. The massage was excellent, and all the hydro-massage areas, steam rooms, and sauna were in very good condition. We are truly grateful to the hotel for such wonderful service and hospitality.

This is a smaller resort so you were able to meet people. The staff remembers who you are and offer excellent service. It is right on the ocean with plenty of beach seating. Cocktail service wherever you are. I enjoyed the pool exercise classes. This is definitely an excellent place to take your family to or if you are a couple just wanting to enjoy yourselves. The food is absolutely incredible here! Fresh food not institutionalized served frozen. They have two options for specialty restaurants at no additional cost. Our favorite is the Mexican right on the beach.

Restaurant on the roof with swimming pool and on the main floor there’s another restaurant along with the bar and live music. The taxis are right in front of the hotel as well as the public transportation. Very convenient. Also has an ATM

the hotel suite was compact, economical, bettter than expected. the small kitchen was perfect. i picked up a few store items to prepare my own coffee and small breakfast. i had trouble working the electric stove but help was immediately available, Marina, Heidi and others were super professionsal and available. Great stay!

Rincon is not for everyone. It is not in the least upscale. Most North American tourist were more than 60 years old. You will not make 'young' friends here. Almost everyone, including me, have been coming to Rincon for many years. It is a truly Mexican, beach town with many very comfortable, long stay hotels, most with kitchen option. The people of Rincon are exceptionally friendly in a authentic way. There are many other small beach town North and Soth of Rincon. When driving you will experience a lot of down and out poverty. Much un-controlled developement. Many areas are as bad as anything you will experience in Africa. But, I felt 100 % safe my 30 day stay there.

The town is in development, so the road is not comfortable to walk around but if we know it in advance we can prepare better with all things to make the stay times more enjoyable. The long soft sand beach is very nice to walk. We didn't swim there, so don't know if there are rocks under.

This town was beautiful, we felt safe here and loved all the shops and restaurants. Some of the area is on very steep hills and they can be hard to access, I highly recommend renting a side by side in town if you are staying in the area. It’s the best way to get around.

We first went to Bucerias in 2018 and on this last trip, 2026 the town had grown more than we expected. More restaurant's, accommodations, medical and dental facilities, shopping. The beaches were pretty much the same, just busier. We always enjoyed the surrounding areas of Bucerias which are all very easy to get too by bus, taxi or Uber.

We've basically lived here off and on for the last 2 years while prepping our sailboat to jump to Polynesia. The local community couldn't be friendlier and more welcoming, and the Bay is beautiful. We love this place.

Avoid the “nicer” restaurants for dinner. Tacos Los Arboles is the best place to eat, or grab the trompo al pastor tacos from the stand on Avenida Tercer Mundo. If you want to get chairs and umbrellas, Olivera’s is a great place to spend the day - the seafood dishes and drinks are top notch. The beach club is a great splurge - it’s 1500 pesos, but you get a food/drink credit of 1000 pesos and then can access the pool/facilities. Serpiente is wonderful for drinks, as is the card cocktail bar, where you pick a card and the universe decides what you’re drinking. The beach is wonderful for swimming, as long as you know how to enter/exit a shore break safely and understand rips.

I like the beach, and the see food.

I like the beach, and the see food. I had the opportunity to cook my own meals, which I love. I did not like the trash. There were trash in almost every corner. I did not like the loud music. However, the town people were very nice. I will be back :)

Perfect weather, loved Bucerías and markets. The pool was fabulous! The apartment was poorly equipped and we lost much time waiting for repairs, wrong internet code until last couple days. Will not return to this location. Fridge, door lock, air conditioner, internet all broken, waited for repairs. No English communication, but met many lovely people. Highly recommend Rhythms of the Night show.
