Nomada Wellness is a wonder sanctuary just one block from the beach and a few blocks to town. And the best view from the rooftop pool! What was best was the welcoming energy and care the owner gave me upon arrival. Having yoga classes right there was also fabulous.

Located just across the road from the main bus stop, and just a short 10 minute walk to the main, buzzy square, and also a short walk to the beach, Ximena hotel is like a calm oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of Sayulita. The building is spotlessly clean, and rooms are very spacious. We had an issue in our room when we first arrived where one of the sinks was leaking. But we reported it and were immediately given another room instead, without any trouble. The shower is huge and very good, lovely toiletries provided too, which smelled gorgeous. There is lots of space for luggage in the room, and a nice fan plus AC to keep cool. We had a small balcony with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. A bottle of purified water is provided in the room, and there is a cold water dispenser in the main corridor which can be used to refill bottles, which was so handy. The rooftop pool was the highlight for us. So peaceful and relaxing to lounge up there away from the crowds, and enjoy the heated pool.

There was so much I loved. The location was perfect, being near the town centre, but just far and private enough to be quiet. The grounds are absolutely stunning; it was a pleasure to just spend time at the pool or on the patio, taking in the beautiful courtyard, day or night. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind and take so much care in what they do. The water filtration system at the kitchen and bathroom sinks meant that we never had to think about water, we just filled up our glasses or bottles. Having stayed other places in Mexico on our trip, this felt like an understated luxury. Everything was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was well-appointed with everything you’d need and the room had thoughtful closet space that made our lives easier not having to live out of our bags. Everything here felt like it was chosen with thought and intention. We always remarked upon returning from our day’s adventure how happy we were that we chose this place as it just felt like coming home to a beautiful retreat with everything we needed!

This town was beautiful, we felt safe here and loved all the shops and restaurants. Some of the area is on very steep hills and they can be hard to access, I highly recommend renting a side by side in town if you are staying in the area. It’s the best way to get around.

I love that place. There is something for everyone there. Very fun to walk around the town. The beach is really big and has busy parts with beach bars at one end and quiet parts at the other end. Never had a bad meal while there. Eat delicious 25 peso tacos all day long. Everyone that we met that lives there is friendly and helpful. Definitely going back there sometime.

Sayulita is a beautiful place.

Sayulita is a beautiful place. The beach, the town all inviting. The local people are very nice. Sadly it is heavily over crowded. Waikiki/Coney Island. Umbrella to umbrella - towel to towel...restaurants occupy & privatize most of the sand. (you must buy something to use their areas) A private spot is hard to come-by. Town is pretty & fun to walk through in the early morning...before it opens. After that, the roads are a constant buz of vehicles, trucks & quads. Sidewalk cafes---w/exhaust & traffic w/in arms reach definitely dampen the ambiance. The price of food everywhere (excepting out of the way taco stands) is radically expensive. Be prepared to spend $20/pp for the most simple taco plate. (more in upscale places) Then factor in beverages...PRICEY. Its a "Disneyland" style Mexico experience; preferred by some...but not for everyone.

Sayulita is close for all the excursions we had planned.

Sayulita is close for all the excursions we had planned. The zipline & quad tour place was a lot of fun. Very nice town but very noisy but we happened to be there for the town fair which lasts all week. This includes a stage in the middle of town that blasts extremely loud music & ridiculous percussion until 3 or 4 am every day for a week.

Absolutely love this surf/wellness town!

Absolutely love this surf/wellness town! Second-time visiting after a couple of years, and part of me wishes I could even live here. It's a town full of welcoming locals, expats, delicious food, amazing music, nature walks within distance, and of course surf. It's a town that has a little something for everyone. I love coming to Sayulita for the strong community, lots of wellness activities, nature walks, and surf. Highly recommend!

Nice size of town with various beach-options.

Nice size of town with various beach-options. Nice surfing vibe on the one side and an interesting mix of visitors, also long term residents from North America. You can walk everything on foot, but many people seem to use a golf cart within the nearby vicinity. You get a nice choice of pretty good restaurants ... if you look for the real fancy gourmet stuff and high level "all inclusive hotels", the 5 star hotels in Punta de Mita closer to Puerto Vallarta might be your better choice. If you are a bit more adventurous and happy to even take a local bus to PV or other towns nearby like San Pancho, then Sayulita is situated right and just far enough away from big PV. You can take surf lessons or enjoy a Salsa-night in the Don Pedro Bar on Mondays. Sometimes a bit noisy with a lot of hustle and bustle.

We recently stayed at La Boheme for a last minute Sayulita vacation. We loved the boutiquey feel and how clean the hotel was. The staff was amazing and super friendly. The hotel is a short walk from the busier parts of town and we appreciated the quiet. Everything is super walkable and there were plenty of options to eat and drink nearby. Can't wait for our next visit!

The place is very small and cozy. The location is in a walkable distance to the busy center of Sayulita, which was important for us (downtown Sayulita can be extremely busy and loud during high season). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool area a lot. The hotel has beach umbrellas you can bring to the beach.

Great stay, with wonderful staff. Very comfortable room and lovely warm pool with a beautiful view. Enjoyed the Yoga flow class and a wonderful massage ( extra cost). Location is very central for Sayulita, but away from main bar noise... but beware of steep stairs and hill to get home. Kept us fit!
