The staff were amazing. Every single one of them always said hi I put a smile on their face. Anything that needed attention was done right away. I’ve never had such a great service anywhere I’ve been. They’re always working trying to improve the place. We were very thankful and lucky to get a suite there.

Rincon is not for everyone. It is not in the least upscale.

Rincon is not for everyone. It is not in the least upscale. Most North American tourist were more than 60 years old. You will not make 'young' friends here. Almost everyone, including me, have been coming to Rincon for many years. It is a truly Mexican, beach town with many very comfortable, long stay hotels, most with kitchen option. The people of Rincon are exceptionally friendly in a authentic way. There are many other small beach town North and Soth of Rincon. When driving you will experience a lot of down and out poverty. Much un-controlled developement. Many areas are as bad as anything you will experience in Africa. But, I felt 100 % safe my 30 day stay there.

It's not scorching hot in Guayabitos - very comfortable for walking around. Everything in Guayabitos is within walking distance. There are shops galore and restaurants here are all terrific. Butchers, bakeries and fruit/veggie stores are fresh. The beach is massive, great for walking (not sloped) with room for thousands of people if need be. For non-swimmers, the water is easy to get in and out of. There are different inexpensive options to go visit nearby towns - taxi, bus or Colectivo. Guayabitos is not a spring break kind of town; mostly retirees and seems to be a safe community. Locals and vendors are not bothersome or pushy. The only drawback is the amount of garbage lying around on the streets and beach. (A somewhat sad fact.) We will return at some point. Jan/2025

The beach is the best I have seen in awhile.

The beach is the best I have seen in awhile. Flat and packed sand, easy to walk. The water is warm. Getting around is easy. We ate at a couple of the nearby restaurants, pleased with the food. I probably would not go back though, as there is nothing there but the beach.

It is a busy beach town we have visited many time and for the most part enjoyed. This hotel is not as described on booking.com and blame them more than the hotel and the have not even answered our email so will not book with Booking.com again

Even though I went to walk on the beach alone (and felt so safe), I recommend Rincón de Guayabitos to families also. Happy laughter of children everywhere. Good cafés on the street and on the beach; the ones on the beach seem to have limited hours.

We've been there several times, but the last time was 10 years ago and it has really grown. There are restaurants and shops everywhere now, so it's a bit more crowded. We always felt safe and there are many choices for places to eat and stay.

Hotel Manager was amazing - super helpful. We both got sick while in Mexico and she arranged for a doctor to come see us in our hotel room - great service. Location was great too - just 1.5 blocks from the beach and close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was very clean - maintained daily. Kitchen facilities were good - stove, full size fridge and microwave, pots/pans, dishes and cutlery were all sufficient for making meals in the suite.
