Staying on this boat was much more than just one night accommodation, it was a full experience. The room was amazing, unique and full of character. The bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was awesome, fresh and delicious, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming.
The location is also perfect, very close to the city center, so everything was easy to reach. We truly loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something different and memorable.

From the moment I stepped in the hotel, it was magic. Quick check in, booked spa treatment in advance which was lush (rasul) the outdoor heated pool & indoor pool & jacuzzi were the right temp. The food at breakfast was lush. Comfy room, cute entrance christmas decs, fancy glass elevator.

The hotel was absolutely stunning, absolutely exceptional! The room was extremely beautiful, large, with a bed in the middle of the room and floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides! The breakfast was the best we have had anywhere. There are simply no words! The best hotel in the world!

I came back to Nijmegen for a weekend reunion after studying there 20 years ago - it is still such a beautiful city, although things have changed so much since my student days. I came with my husband and would love to come back and visit again with more time to explore the things we didn't get to see this time round. Wonderful city with wonderful memories, and the potential to make more beautiful memories.

After touring through France, Belgium and Germany it was nice to arrive here and just be able to 'Chill' for a few days before returning to UK. An extremely relaxing stay in an idyllic location, complimented by a lovely restaurant and bar/lounge.
The staff were friendly and attentive and looked after us very well.
If you want a relaxing environment with the added bonus of walking. ,cycling and wellness facilities, I would recommend this hotel.

Loved the location, property - we did not want to leave! Highly recommend staying - you will need a car to explore outside the park and you may want to have citronella candles to keep the mosquitos/gnats away!

If you have to be around Nijmegen, try Wijchen and park for...
If you have to be around Nijmegen, try Wijchen and park for free. I grew up in Nijmegen but only visit it when I have a good reason for it because of its car un-friendly policies. Wijchen is quite the opposite, so recommended for shopping and it is a nice looking town as well. We also visited the castle which is very nice, though you can not spend more than an hour to do so.

Beautiful environment with forests and lovely walks, amongst others Estate "the Oorsprong", the very interesting Airborne Museum close to our hotel, as well as the impressive Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery. We also enjoyed the proximity of Arnhem, with its beautiful Sonsbeek Park as well as the nicely situated Museum Arnhem with interesting exhibitions and lovely art.

My hometown so yes, this was a really nice experience.
My hometown so yes, this was a really nice experience. Wijk bij Duurstede is a cozy little town with nice restaurants. The population is easy to talk to and everyone nicks their head or is wishing you “goeiedag” passing you on the street.
Spring/summertime is by far the best time to visit Wijk ❤️
Recommend both restaurant De Engel and De Veldpoort but I’m sure the others serve great food as well.

Great location for visiting the sights in and around Arnhem...
Great location for visiting the sights in and around Arnhem and "Operation Market Garden".
Good restaurant, with helpful staff, most of which speak very good English. Expect to pay around £50 per head for a three course meal.
The hotel was quiet, but note it is also a location for concerts and conferences, so at times can be busy. We had a music concert one night during our stay, but this seemed to be far enough from the rooms that we did not hear it at all. When there is a function on, I would advise booking a table at the restaurant in advance or you might be disappointed. There does not appear to be any other eating establishments within walking distance, so if you don't want to eat there you need a car.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to others.

Lots of places to eat and drink. Nice shops. Market on the Thursday that we were there. Lots of parking available. Convenient location close to the motorway network. Ideal for touring the "Operation Market Garden" area which is what we went for.

We wanted to visit the John Frost bridge and travelled by car. Great to visit and lots to see. Be aware that there is a ultra low emission zone in the centre so if travelling in an older vehicle please be mindful of this.
