"We have nothing to say but the best words for this transient home in Baguio. We were a group of 16 people, but they were able to accommodate us comfortably. The rooms are spacious with an ample supply of pillows and linens. We were also provided with enough supply of bath towels. The rooms were spacious, and the hot and cold showers were working properly. The house has a warm and homey feeling, situated in a quiet environment. Their staff was kind and helpful and responded to our requests promptly. They have a fully functional kitchen where we cooked our food. a large refrigerator, a microwave oven for heating food, and a classy dining table. The entire house was clean and we tried our best to keep it that way during our stay. We highly recommend this place for large groups and families."

The hotel is newly built and modern. Electricity is controlled with your key card. Wi-Fi and breakfast is included. Queen bed is comfortable. Our room faced the Wright Park riding circle where visitors can rent and ride horses, take pictures in the native customs and buy gifts. If you are fit enough, you can climb the long steep over 100 stairs to Wright Park Lake. From there you can see the "Mansion".You can probably follow the road , but the uphill climb would be tough. The Hotel is a walking distance from 2 restaurants- Volante and Shakeys. Be mindful that restaurants here serve dinner- type menus , always with rice. We found close to American breakfast at Volante. Coffee Brews here in general according to my husband are really good.BTW, robes and disposable slippers are provided and snacks and drinks left in room are free.

Baguio has a unique charm that becomes even more magical when the fog rolls in and the rain begins to fall. The cool mountain air, mist-covered pine trees, and peaceful atmosphere create a relaxing escape from the busy city life. Walking through the fog felt almost surreal, while the gentle rain made every cup of coffee and every cozy corner even more enjoyable. Instead of disrupting our trip, the weather became one of its highlights. It gave the city a calm, romantic ambiance that made us slow down, appreciate the scenery, and simply enjoy the moment. If you're visiting Baguio, don't let the fog and rain discourage you—they're part of what makes the City of Pines so unforgettable.

My solo DIY trip to Batad, Banaue was an absolutely pleasant onceinalifetime experience. I did a lot of research (YouTube, Reddit, instagram) yet nothing…nothing prepared me for the utter visual magnificence of seeing the rice terraces up close and in person. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Lots to see, lots to do, some challenging tours that you will enjoy. Very good tourist assistance. Our tour guide was excellent, as he not only safely and expertly help us navigate the places that we visited, but also filled us in on their cultural and historical significance. We learned a lot from him. No problem getting good eats, plenty of restaurants, excellent coffee. Plenty of inns to lodge in and we saw several more being constructed while we were there. Best time to go weekdays, as weekends, holidays and peak season gets really crowded, said our guide. Easy to get around, walkers' paradise. Motorbike-driven vehicles aplenty. No traffic, and very clean everywhere.

Unfortunately Baguio has very few parking spots all over the city. They also completely rerouted the entrance to the parking at the market to something that makes me question the intelligence of the persons who came up with this new approach which doesn't make any sense. The city if filled with Jeepneys holding the traffic back causing a lot of congestions. If it was not for the SM center this place (Baguio) would not have much to offer. Traffic jams everywhere. And don't even think about going there during the Panagbenga unless you love being stuck in traffic, spending hours looking for a parking spot to finally not finding any - same as in regular times . There are a few good restaurants but most of them have a long way to go to reach international standards although some are trying. The waiters lack training for efficiency, attention to the customers instead of their cell phones, etc.It is a very stressful place to be due to the air pollution (thank you Jeepneys) the noise pollution and the lack of parking. I totally dislike Baguio and I avoid it as much as possible.I guess that it's ok for the Filipinos because they are used to this mess but for a foreigner coming from Europe or America it's a big NO!!!!!

Rice terraces were beautiful, best time to go is June said our guides. Hapao hot springs was my highlight, more so the scenery than the spring. Batad rice terraces were also beautiful but unfortunately has a huge landslide through the middle. Just a 5-10min walk from the parking on a cement path. Bro zone bar did good food and had a great atmosphere. The best spots all require a moderate trek so consider that.

The winding and narrow road going to Sagada is very challenging and nerve-wracking for the first timer. It was so adventurous and a looong pulsating drive. It was very scenic amazing and breathtaking, but the cliffs are so dangerous and scary as well. One can't help but say all prayers to God to just be safe while doing this journey. My adrenaline is at the level of my neck! But arriving at this quaint town i would have loved to stay a little longer. Ours was too short a visit. Will again come back some time for a longer vacay

Wow, what an experience off the beaten path.

Wow, what an experience off the beaten path. The winding roads and the lack of some amenities (think wifi) in some places make this trip worthwhile. Banaue offers a look into almost a whole new world and an appreciation for people who really do arduous work for a life. The development and maintenance of these rice terraces is indeed impressive. Worth the time to get there.
