Very good breakfast! Very large rooms!

I loved this place. Beautiful small Quinta and family owned. The room for 3 (2 adults & an eight year old) was spacious (we had a lot of stuff), beds comfortable, clean, with air conditioning and private bathroom. Free parking and breakfast was included. The personnel was excellent, they clean your room daily, if you like. I felt ill one day, they prepared a special soup, took very care of us every day. They offer a tour of their winery (couldn’t do it because I was sick) and my husband say that they have good wines. My daughter loved the pool. Food was delicious. Definitely coming back.

Lovely hotel, room very well appointed, close to the town, breakfast was delicious, very friendly staff. Lovely spa facilities.

Loved the mid century vibe, the beautiful view of the Douro, the easy parking, and the great breakfast served in a lovely room. My husband said the shower was the best he’d had in any hotel, ever.

As a US couple traveling by car through Portugal, we loved having the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine and the olives we purchased along the way on our private balcony facing the laundry mat as we did our laundry. We purchased a delicious roasted chicken at the super mercado about 2 mimures away and ate dinner on our balcony. We appreciated the down time we had as the next morning we had scheduled a drive along the Douro river with a boat ride and wine tour to follow only 20 minutes away! Rooms were very clean as other travelers had reviewed. Recommended restaurants were a 10 minute walk but we were feeling lazy so are onsite. We parked in a public parking lot directly across from our room and our car was visible from our balcony.

Beautiful property location and host/staff

The room was small and a little tight, but very clean and the beds were comforatble. Our hosts were lovely and our breakfast filling. The location was great, with access to all sight seeing and restaurants.

From the outside this place looks a little rundown but that is not the case inside. We were really happy with the location and the value for money. Safe parking was easy to obtain outside the hotel.

We slept in one of the barrels, it's a bit small but offered a unique experience. The complimentary wine tasting was very nice. Great breakfast. We also had a very good dinner at the hotel restaurant.

The whole experience was great. The hot jacuzzi is such a great idea and it's magically to spend the sunset there

The location was breathtaking. Nestled in the vineyards of Northern Portugal with the most friendly thoughtful and simply amazing staff and food . Would highly recommend and visit again soon. We came from Canada and absolutely loved it. Wine tasting was really interesting and we learned allot with Fabio he was so knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly and engaging with the guests. The spa was fantastic and treatments and facilities really relaxing. Food was incredible and delicious truly amazing experience hosted by Rui the hotel director. Could not have asked for a better vacation. Will visit soon for sure !!

We had junior suite, it was spacious including terrace with sunbeds (although no use in March as even with full sunshine the temperature was chilly). We stayed midweek out of the season - actually we were the only staying guest in the hotel. Anyhow, restaurant was open for us (excellent dinner) and breakfast was served directly to our table instead of the buffet style. Excellent service as in the past we have experiences some hotels closing restaurant, etc. if not enough staying customers. Definately place to come again.
