I loved the total package . The location was wonderful, the decor in and out was so nice and thought out . The breakfast was wonderful and I tried something different daily . They had a honor system bar upstairs and I just had to check it out, and yes I was honorable . The decor in the back yard was great, and you could go to different areas .

Walkable to all restaurants and entertainment venues in Camden Maine. This hotel had beautiful wild gardens Even in this city location. I picked cherry tomatoes and an apple on my way up the ramp to get into the building. They had a nice fire going for s’mores. An offbeat and comfortable Place.

The innkeepers, Janis and Peter, were warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home in their home. Every room was bright, charming, and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing, prepared and served by Janis each morning. Different every day and made with local ingredients.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited in the US...
One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited in the US. So many good places to eat, have coffee and eat locally made ice cream,
Also, take a sailboat cruise on one of the many antique schooners. I loved the OLAD.
The harbor is so beautiful, and oh so many shops to take your money! It's worth it though.
happy hour at the Harbor Side Hotel bar lobby is the best. We stayed for dinner and was so pleased.

Farnsworth Museum of Art...Wyeth art ! Rockport has several other art galleries & nice shops and cafes. Artsy town. Blues Music festival was previous weekend...wish we had known. Rockport also has a Lobster Fest

Camden is a quaint New England coastal town in Maine.
Camden is a quaint New England coastal town in Maine. It is easy to walk around the town center to see the harbor and interesting shops, as well as plenty of restaurant choices (Long Grain Restaurant - Thai was fantastic with delicious and interesting food and a terrific waitress). There are also plenty of places to hike nearby and opportunities to get out on the water.

Many things to do indoors and outdoor, this trip weather was great, sailing on Lazy Jack was informative and relaxing, restaurants abundance, from flatbread pizza to seafood Claws is an all time favorite

Touristy as all get out, but I knew that going in.
Touristy as all get out, but I knew that going in. Gorgeous town, lovely little bay. Houses and locals seemed great and I would highly recommend Camden over Portland (I believe that's some debate in this part of Maine.)

I would recommend this Inn for a stopover stay.
I would recommend this Inn for a stopover stay. Especially if you are on your way to northeastern area. We loved the friendly folks everywhere went, and there were some great sites to see in this area. Also, recommend visiting Thomaston to see historic beautiful homes which belonged to sea captains of past. Also the State of Maine Corrections has a store that sells products made by inmates. These are wonderful, a great program to support.
