"Corbin is my hometown, so I'm a bit biased. But I love it here, the people are friendly and the food is amazing. The views from the mountains and the scenery over the valleys are pure perfection. Best food is Smokeys, especially if you enjoy BBQ, their brisket will melt in your mouth! Also if you're into Asian cuisine, Wah Weng is an all you can eat buffet of the best calamari and crab Rangoon I've ever had. Definitely worth looking into!"

"Morehead is a small eastern Kentucky town with a population of about 6800 people and is home of the Morehead State University and Cave Run Lake, a 8,270-acre lake about 10 miles outside of town, great for boating, camping, water skiing or relaxing on the beaches. Cave Run Lake is part of the recreational facilities within the Daniel Boone National Forest. We lived in Morehead for 4 years while attending Morehead State University and loved every minute of it."

"We like this growing town so much that we bought property. The town needs a hotel locally that can accommodate travelers who want to visit the lake. The area is beautiful, the new Conley Bottom area is a terrific attraction for family. Now, we just need a hotel to be proud of; where our family and friends can stay and enjoy. We would love to see more local restaurants and shops too. Awesome area!"

Liked the cleanliness, beds were comfortable, bedding was cotton with good thread count, pillows were great! Breakfast had lots of good choices: hot food fresh and hot, cold food fresh and cold. Staff very efficient and friendly. I'm reaching for something lacking and the only thing I can think of us that our door slammed really loud! That's it! Xoxox

The best Motel 6, that I’ve stayed in. This one must be a flagship. Clean, everything worked. Great front desk. No hoodlums. Fast food out front. Well lit parking lot. Best value in Corbin.

They had incidental charge of $60 they didn’t give ours back because they “forgot”, it’s been five days and bank has not received it but others in group received theirs the same day. Bank says they haven’t received yet. They debited theirs 60 at checkin on the 28th but yet we are struggling to get back

Corbin, KY is a good mini-vacation choice as it offers The Lake Cumberland State Park and other notable historical places to visit. Corbin, KY is the original location of Kentucky Fried Chicken founded by Colonel Harland Sanders. The original restaurant is now a museum with a modern functioning KFC as part of the museum. This is a great place to get a 'taste' of some Corbin, KY's history.

The comfort and cleanliness of the room was a definite plus.

The comfort and cleanliness of the room was a definite plus. Also, considering the number of rooms, the place is very quiet and the climate control is excellent. The staff was very efficient, helpful, and friendly. As Boone Tavern is right in the middle of the town of Berea, it allows for a lot of good walking, shopping, and nice porches for sitting. It also has plenty of space in the interior bottom floor for sitting and/or meeting others. The campus of Berea College is beautiful and a wonderful place to walk. Thanks to everyone for the hospitality!

If you're looking for one night place to stay and having low expectations of quality, then you can survive a short stay. Cost for the quality of stay in question. Food for the breakfast was low standard, not even as good as what you would find at a truck stop.

The views were amazing! Plus the small city had everything anyone would need. Restaurants close and wonderful! We ate at Sonny's and we were very happy with the quality, taste and price of our dinner! Unfortunately we were only passing through but we plan on coming back to this location in a few months to explore all the natural beauty that surrounds your exceptional city.
