The location is excellent, right in the middle of the city - with plenty nice restaurants around it. Also, we are driving a Tesla, and having Blink stations at the parking lot here was a super plus for us.

From the moment we entered the Inn and spoke to the front desk person (Fred), we were treated very well. All of the staff could not have been more accommodating. The Inn was gorgeous and very clean. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view. Although we arrived in November and could not truly appreciate the grounds, it seems very well cared for. We also had a lovely meal(one of the best on our month long touring) at the Speakeasy. The breakfast, the following morning was also excellent (recommend the Eggs Benedict). Truly regretted leaving. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the Shenandoah Valley.

Charlottesville appears to me as a city crammed into a town parameter. Even using my car's built-in navigation system, I found it difficult to get to my destinations. Otherwise, I enjoyed my time in this famous location. My favorite location, Monticello, requires a full day.

Nice revitalized city in Virginia.

Nice revitalized city in Virginia. If you want a really nice place to eat then you can NOT miss stopping at Clementine Cafe in town. I have no connection to them. It's just an honest referral. Their food is outstanding. We go to Shenandoah National Park every year. Visiting this cafe is a must. Secondly, the greatest Korean BBQ in a small spot is GOGIWA. Don't pass it up. Can you tell we are foodies? It received a Plaque from Google as it is the highest rated eatery in surrounding 8 states!! The owners are an incredibly kind Korean couple. Don't skip them either.

Luray is a beautiful location for a wedding and for those who enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of nice Inns or Airbnbs to stay. The only thing lacking was one coffee shop open on Sunday which was extremely busy and not a lot to do after 9pm Saturday night. We attended a wedding and the venue was stunning.

I have reported this room to the correct people.

I have reported this room to the correct people. I have never left a review like this before. BEWARE do not stay here. It’s the cheapest for a reason. They have extended stay people living here. They have children that are up all hours of the night. We are talking 4:00 am before it got quiet. All the people living here smoke outside their rooms and this room must have had smokers in the room. We have stayed at this Wyndham motels before. Never have we had. Room like this. Filthy and moldy. Dirty. Only thing nice it had A/C.

The house was nearly perfect for our small family reunion.

The house was nearly perfect for our small family reunion. The common areas were spacious and comfortable. The number of beds and bathrooms fit our needs well. The location was close to the water park and other recreational areas while still out of the hustle and bustle of the resort. The water pressure was remarked upon by several in our party who were amazed that everyone could take hot showers without waiting. The children loved the two video game stations. Everything was generally great, but there were a couple of things that really need to be addressed. The outdoor grill was a feature highlighted in the description of the house. However, it was a real mess. There was no gas in the tank, so we had to search for it and buy some instead of grilling our supper, which was frustrating and completely interfered with our planned timeline. Previous guests had left the grates a mess, and there was pooled grease in the bottom, which caught fire. The ignitors didn't work, and we had to get creative to light it since we didn't have matches or a lighter with us. It was a nice grill and worked well for us after we bought gas, cleaned it, and figured out a way to light it. The other irritating thing was the dishwasher. In addition to looking gross inside, the dishes came out with food stuck on them every time and always felt less than sanitary. The chunks of food stuck on the dishes did not come from us since we always rinsed the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The filter certainly must be cleaned, but I would suggest replacing the dishwasher itself since the interior shelves, etc., were unsightly and off-putting. We hope the owners/managers read and pay attention to this feedback because we hope to stay there again next year and would hope to find these problems fixed rather than further deterioration.

This is so far into the mountain area that there is NO Internet connection (but there is WiFi [and TV] if you absolutely must have it!) That was one of the charms for us -- we could literally turn off our "brains" and enjoy the quiet and natural beauty right in front of us - and although there were plenty of activities/hiking trails/horse rides within reach -- you don't have to go anywhere to just enjoy sitting in an Adirondack chair and appreciate the beauty and light as the sun sets over the mountains. Best night of sleep in years!
