There is nothing at Celtis Lodge that I didn't like. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are well appointed and clean, it is peaceful and quiet and the food at the restaurant is amazing. They even had a power point to connect my caravan for the overnight stay and they have a charging point for EV's.

The peace and quietness of the place even in malls
I liked the sound of nature where I stayed. Full of trees and the river flowing in the background.
The people around were also friendly.
It was easy to access the N4 freeway.

I love the gardens and how neat the place and rooms are.
I love the gardens and how neat the place and rooms are. The rooms are extremely spacious and has everything you need, the staff is helpful and very friendly. They have braai facilities which is neat and just perfect for an evening braai. I over all enjoyed the whole stay.

The setting of the well furnished house with the beautiful mountain behind it was breathtaking. The big kitchen was created for cooking and more cooking and we made the tastiest meals there. The chickens and ducks were so welcome and created so much interest every time we saw them. The was so inviting even though it was a bit cold, but really so refreshing. We really enjoyed our time and we will most definitely be back soon.

I had a wonderful stay at Lamor Guesthouse last night. The place was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere made me feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay

Middelburg is a typical small Karoo town and a good overnight stop if you are travelling to the Garden Route. The town is quiet and safe, and the people are friendly, helpful and eager to share knowledge of the town and surrounding area.

There were 3 possible areas to braai at.
There were 3 possible areas to braai at. At the swimming pool, at the lapa and at a build-in braai. The different areas available for recreation is well planned and the layers of closing out the wind/rain or heat worked well. It also helped to contain and 18 mnth without spoiling the views or access.
The bathrooms can do with a bit of TLC but it was clean and functional.

Travel Lodge is nicely designed, however the furniture, bed and bathroom is horrid. My dogs have better sleep facilities. Definitely not recommended! The description and pics are misleading. We had to cut our stay short without a refund!

The place itself is very peaceful.
The place itself is very peaceful. The quietness gives you time to clear your mind and just relax. The fact that there is remote controlled gates it a big plus, because no one can just enter the premises without a key.
