Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds and clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was buffet with a wide variety of foods and eggs in a nice dining hall. Bed was comfortable, big shower, good parking in front of rooms in fenced-in area. Did not need aircon (only 7 C this night) but room is equipped with AC and TV. Its a quiet area. Dinner was also very nice. I recommend the lamb curry.

Location is excellent..... well worth 2 nights.....with a day down at Buffels River - with the delightful surprise of flamingos being present there, ramble along the Atlantic shore and a drink with Rocky at the Angling Club! Everything you can imagine available at the Cottage and the trust of the owner is much appreciated. Rowena and neighbour Wilfred welcomed us warmly. Morning view down to the sea, as the mists clear, is spectacular! Springbok, Steenbok and Ostrich are among the wildlife you begin to see here, along with the variety and abundance of bird activity at the extraordinary Buffels Riverhead!

Lovely surprise. Small town with great character. Harry and Celeste are wonderful hosts and the stay was more like a visit with friends. We can highly recommend this guesthouse!
